We are just a few weeks away from the official start of springtime, but I am already decorating for the spring! It is a nice time of year to lighten the decor up in your home. You do not need to go out and completely overhaul your home decor for the spring. A few new spring home decor touches is all you need to refresh your home.
I am sharing some of my favorite spring home decor ideas with you!
1. Pink Blossoms Stems
I’ve been talking a lot about these faux pink blossom stems on Instagram.
One of the best swaps to make in the home for a new season is new flowers or greenery! When, I spotted these pink floral blossom stems in the store I thought SPRING! These pink flowers are so bright and cheerful.
I have moved them around in a clear vase a few times, but I like them best on our family room coffee table.
2. Rustic White Vase
I am seeing a lot of white vases trending right now. Most of the vases I am seeing all have a little bit of texture or rustic looking. I really love this white weathered terra cotta vase.
Either put the pretty pink blossoms or as it is shown with some greenery in this vase.
3. Rattan Lanterns
I love to use Rattan textures when decorating in the spring and summer. The other day, I picked up a few of these glass lanterns with rattan roping. If you do not have an At Home Store nearby, there are a lot of similar Wicker Lantern Options including this set from Pottery Barn. This inexpensive rattan lantern option is really nice too!
4. Neutral Placemats
I know not everyone uses placemats or decorates with them. But, since we use our large dining room table, I like to switch our place mats. This neutral placements are a great spring home decor idea! The neutral color goes with any type of home decor and these wipe clean really easily.
5. New Spring Doormat
One of my favorite ways to update for the spring is with a new doormat for our small front porch. I’ve been thinking about how I want to decorate our front porch this year. The last few years I’ve done a Lemon and Yellow theme and then a Red and Cherry theme.
This year, I am thinking about going for a very neutral doormat. With a more neutral welcome mat, any decor will really work well with it. If you are looking for more fun welcome mat ideas, I’ve updated this post.
6. Mango Wood Bowl
I bought this Mango wood bowl last month and just love it on our kitchen island.
I use it to hold our fruit. This is one of those home decor items that has so many possibilities. I love wood accents and I know if I get tired of this bowl in the kitchen, I can move it to another spot in the house.
7. Light Weight Throw Blanket
Whether it is winter or summer time, I still have throw blankets around the house. Someone is always cold! I figured out that switching out the color of our throw blankets is really easy seasonal swap.
I just brought out a blanket that is identical to this gray and white striped blanket.
Depending on where you live, this blanket can go all year round. We typically opt for heavier weighted blankets in the winter.
8. Pillows
Swapping out your pillows on your chairs and couches and really change the decor mood. I got these blue textured pillow covers for our couch and I just love how they look. The entire room looks brighter and lighter with these pillows for spring and summer.
If you want a more neutral pillow option, I really like these taupe throw textured pillows!
9. Botanical Print
An easy spring home decor update is to bring in a new picture or print. This Sage Framed Print is so light and pretty.
Another option is to find a print on Etsy and put it into a frame you already have. There are so many botanical art prints on Etsy.
10. Floral Wreath
One final spring home decor update to swap out your front door wreath. I can not wait to put out our spring wreath which is very similar to this one.
Even though, we have a covered front porch, I want to make sure we do not have more snow before I put out the wreath.
These are just a few of my spring home decor suggestions. Just a few little spring updates is all you need for a home update for the new season!
