Friday Favorites: Halloween Pillows and Healthy Halloween Snacks

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am leaving with my mom on our weekend long shopping trip! I’ll be sure to share some updates along the way over on Instagram!   As usual, I am linking up with  Erika, Narci and Andrea. for Friday Favorites.  I’m wrapping up my week with some favorite new Halloween Pillows and decor and a new yummy and healthy snack..

Halloween Pillows and Decor Ideas

Since this week kicked off October, I decided it was time to get out our Halloween decorations. I am keeping things pretty contained and just adding Halloween decorations to a few areas. Last year I decorated our bar cart and this year I am focusing on adding Halloween to a few kids spots of our house.

I added some small Halloween touches to the boys’ room and their fun teepee! I am all for working with the space and the decor you have…and adding in few new things along the way.

On Tuesday, I shared some Halloween home decor that is not too spooky or too cheesy! Thanks for all of the feedback on this post–it seems a lot of you like cute Halloween pillows too:) I love changing up our decor with inexpensive pillows and these Halloween pillows are too cute to pass up. Which one is your favorite??

Hocus Pocus Pillows

I’ve got a fun free Halloween decor idea for you! As I was working on Halloween decorating, I looked through all of the kids’ past Halloween pictures. I ended up printing out a bunch of them from the different years and I plan on displaying them soon! It is a great way to use  holiday photos.

I’ll be sure to save this along with my Halloween decor so that I can pull them out again next year!

Trendsend Evereve September Review

This past week, I received my latest Trendsend clothing box. I really liked a lot of the items that I got in this box! However, since I have a big shopping trip this weekend, I held off on making too many purchases. I did love this camo tunic and Spank leggings. It has “weekend uniform” written all over it!

Easy Halloween Snacks

Since we were all about Halloween over here this week,  yesterday I shared some easy Halloween snack ideas! These are quick and simple snacks to have at play dates, after school snacks, lunch time and class parties!

My kids just asked the other day if we were having another Boo Bash this year! We decided on a Halloween themed movie night so I can’t wait to plan all of our snacks!

Better than Good Snack Review

Speaking of snacks, I am so excited to share about these new snacks called Better than Good that  I just discovered! These high protein, low sugar snacks are a great option for families on the go! We had a chance to try out all of their flavors!

My little guy loved the Salted Carmel Flavor–perfect for fall! This snack is great for him because he is a picky eater but he loves snack time.

It was a total win to see him loving these snacks!

These snacks are non-gmo and gluten free. They contain no artificial sweeteners! You get the nutrient equivalent of 2 servings of fruits and vegetables in every packet!

My favorite flavor is the Jalepeno Cheddar! It has a perfect amount of spice!

Better than Good Snacks are a locally (Cleveland) and family owned company. They developed this product as a better snack option for families. How are these snacks better for you than other snack alternatives? They shared this infographic with me on how Better than Good Snacks compare to other snack options.

This company has a strong mission as a portion of their proceeds goes to supporting children with cancer at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. You can read more about why this mission is so near and dear to their hearts hereTo see who they are directly helping, you can get updates on their Facebook page!

I love all these fun October favorites! I really love the decorating ideas of adding touches to the space and decor you already have (the boys’ rooms are so cute!) and halloween pictures from the past. The carrots pumpkin is also a fun idea to get kids to eat more veggies!
