Christmas Lights Bingo Cards

Last night we enjoyed one of our favorite Christmas traditions! We always look forward to driving around to see Christmas lights. Usually, we wear our pajamas and sometimes we bring hot cocoa. Of course, we make sure we have Christmas music on the radio. In the last few years, I’ve tried to make it a little more fun and festive by making the kids a checklist of items to find on our lights tour. However, this year, for a little family friendly competition, I decided to make a Christmas Lights Bingo Game.

This bingo game kept the kids entertained and it allowed me a little more time to ohh and ahh at all the beautiful homes. We live in an area with big, old homes, so it is always a treat to see these houses decked out for the holidays.

If you want to add a fun element to your holiday lights tour, you are welcome to save and print out these bingo cards! I created six unique cards so that your whole family can enjoy them!

I recommend putting these cards on a clipboards or a book as it makes it easier to write on them during the car ride. Don’t forget writing utensils. You can give out fun holiday themed prizes to make it really fun! Candy canes make great prizes:)

We had a lot of fun playing this Bingo game. My youngest needed a little help reading his card, but he loved crossing off the items. We found some fun decorations that were not on the original cards. So when we came home, I added another Bingo card to include some of our finds!

Our holiday lights tour wrapped up with a visit to our neighborhood ice cream shop. We had to have their homemade peppermint stick ice cream. So yum!

If you don’t already have a holiday lights tradition, I recommend adding this activity to your list! It is a free family activity that will sure to be something the kids remember for years to come!
