Happy Summer Weekend! I’m going to say this every week, but the summer is flying by! Some days move a little slower…especially when we are stuck indoors with all of the rain. But, we are loving almost every minute of our break! Today’s Friday Favorites post is going to be pretty short and sweet. Yesterday, was the Lovely Paperie Fashion Show, so I did not have a lot of time to spare. However, I did manage to make it over to Target and check out their summer dress sale! All the details in today’s Friday Favorites!

Target Summer Dress Sale
I’ve said this before, but I don’t really buy (or look at clothes) at Target. I have enough things I am searching for when I go there, that I don’t want to get overwhelmed in the clothing department. That being said, this year I bought a few pairs of sandals, and one of my favorite ever summer dresses is from Target and I’ve had it for 10 years!
Target Summer dresses are currently Buy one Get one 50% off!
So, I couldn’t resist a good Target dress sale! Being home with three kids, I keep things casual most summer days. But, I do love summer dresses. It is nice to be able to throw on one piece and look pulled together. I found a ton of cute dresses online and then tried to find them all at the store yesterday.
I was unsuccessful in finding the ones I liked online, but I did bring home two other dresses. (The lighting was horrible in our house yesterday with all the rain–so I’m sorry for the pictures!)
Love this red button dress! It’ll be cute for 4th of July but it would work for any sort of summer party or night out. I paired it with my Red, White and Blue Earrings (from Sisters & I Designs) for a really patriotic look. As always, use code Jaclyn10 for 10% off your Sisters and I order). This red dress is made from a linen blend but it does not seem like it will wrinkle.
This ombre t-shirt dress came home with me because it is SO comfortable! Perfect option for day to day with the kids and as a beach cover up! I wore the dress around town to get ready for the fashion show and I was incredibly comfortable in it.
I may just order these other dresses to see which ones are my favorites. It is hard to resist the prices! I got two dresses for under $40! This dress was so cute and feminine but they did not have my size.
I’m not quite sure how long the sale runs through, so I recommend checking the sale out before it’s over. It seems much easier to search online (you can always see if they have the dress in store), instead of doing what I did and attempting to find all the dresses on my own at the store!
This Week on the Blog
In case you missed it, earlier this week, I shared a way to organize and preserve school memories. I was motivated to my kids’ school keepsakes in order after my mom brought over all of my own scrapbooks. The kids had so much fun looking through my books. So, I came up with a way to display their own school memories. It is nice to have them out of bins and boxes and displayed in a nice way.
Have you joined our Summer Reading Challenge? It is not too late! We still have seven weeks to go. I’ll be sharing my current reads over on Instagram. Right now I’m juggling a few books. Do you do that? Or do you read one book before you start another one??
