Happy Friday friends! Just under four weeks until Halloween and we are getting excited. In my opinion, once October hits the year FLIES by! Do you agree? As usual, I am sharing some favorites of the week including some Halloween Decor, Michael’s store favorites and a review of a yummy, local hotpot, Cowboy Food + Drink!
Cute Halloween Decor
I am usually not a huge Halloween decor person. I avoid the outdoor Halloween displays and keep Halloween decor pretty simple inside. But this year, I decided to have some fun with our Halloween decor. I didn’t buy anything new and I was amazed at how much stuff I had…considering I just admitted I don’t really decorate for Halloween!
While I have a lot of fall decor out in our house too, I think I was able to blend in the Halloween decor pretty seamlessly. All of the Halloween decor is in our kitchen. I’ll give you a full Halloween decor tour next week, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this little Halloween spot in our kitchen:) We definitely lean towards not so scary decorations. Nothing wrong with the spooky or gory stuff but just not my style.
The kids are getting big and I think our family centered Halloween celebrations will be winding down (sadly!). So, I have to soak up each and every Halloween that I get to spend with them. My six year old kindly pointed out that our checklist should reverse the order of trick-or-treat and eat all the candy…because first we have to trick-or-treat before we can eat all the candy:)
I am working on a cute Halloween pom garland with my new POM maker. It is so easy to use and to make cute garlands for every occasion!
If DIY Halloween decor is not your thing or you need some cute or spooky decor, check out Michael’s. I loved all of their Halloween decor.
Michaels has a ton of different Halloween garlands. Perfect for a mantle, shelf or staircase banister!
The Halloween fairy garden accessories are so cute! Update your current fairy garden with a few Halloween touches.
It took all of me NOT to get one of these adorable Halloween pillows. I held strong since I already have one Halloween pillow. But, oh my goodness, the pillows are so cute!!

Do you decorate for Halloween at your house?
Cowboy Food + Drink
Last weekend we had the opportunity to have dinner at Cowboy Food + Drink in Chagrin Falls, OH. I’ve mentioned Cowboy Food + Drink recently because they asked me to share about their month of September giving. Each Sunday in September, a portion of the day’s proceeds went to a specific charity. Such a neat way to give + eat some yummy food!
It was our first trip to Cowboy Food + Drink and the entire experience did not disappoint! It is a perfect place to take your family! The space is nice and wide open with plenty of booths and larger tables for families. Plus, quite possibly, the best part of my kids’ experience, besides the food, was the large gaming area! While we waited on our food, the boys played pinball and other arcade games.
Besides the perfect family friendly atmosphere, we absolutely loved our food! My daughter hung with my husband and I at the table because she wanted to try all of the food too!
My husband declared this burger , THE BURGER BOMB, the best one he has ever had!
The BBQ is smoked in-house in a 500-pound Southern Pride Smoker! Everything we tried was SO GOOD. Everything from the BBQ sauces to the salad dressings are made IN HOUSE.
We capped off our meal with the most delicious Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Crunch!
Our trip to Cowboy Kitchen + Food was the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Our family will definitely be back for another visit! Check out Cowboy Food + Drink on Mondays when kids eat free!
Many thanks to Cowboy Food + Drink for hosting my family for dinner!
