Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a fun Halloween. Today starts a new month and the beginning of the holiday season. It’s less than a month until Thanksgiving! As usual, I am sharing some Favorites on this Friday including home, family and style.
This past week we really turned up the Halloween fun at home. The kids are getting big now, but they still hold on tight to some of our holiday traditions.
On Tuesday, we carved pumpkins and I made our favorite Halloween dinner–mummy hot dogs! I shared an easy tutorial for these hot dogs over on Instagram.
This was the first year the older kids carved their own pumpkins. It sure made things easier for us. Plus, the kids were so proud to do their own.
Last night, we headed out with the boys to Trick-or-Treat. My daughter had plans with her friends. Since we weren’t all together at night, I had the kids put on their costumes before school so I could take a picture. They were good sports:)
All in all, it was a (wet and cold) FUN Halloween!
So, what camp do you fall in when it comes to the holidays–A. Bring it on starting November 1st. B. Don’t want to hear about it until after Thanksgiving??
My family loves the excitement and build up of the holidays. Starting in early November we get excited for Thanksgiving, as we host a lot of family, plus we talk a lot about Christmas.
This year, we are heading to Disney right before Thanksgiving. We are excited to get to see Disney all decked out for the holidays and we are attending the Very Merry Christmas party at Magic Kingdom.
I’ve been buying some cute shirts for our trip. Then, this week, I spotted these cute MICKEY FLEECE PAJAMA BOTTOMS for the entire family. It is a win-win because now we have matching pajamas for Christmas. It’ll be nice to put these pjs on after a day at the park!
Target Christmas Dollar Spot
One of my sweet blogging friends sent a message this week because she thought of me when she noticed that her local Target was putting out the Christmas decor in the Dollar Spot. Of course, I had to make a trip over to my Target.
While, the Dollar Spot was still filled with Halloween stuff, I did spot some Christmas stuff. I’m hoping by next week, the Dollar Spot is all HOLIDAY:)
That little cardboard fireplace is a gift card holder–so cute! I love the candy cane jars for storing holiday treats! Perfect container for homemade gifts!
November 1st Tradition
We started our annual November tradition this morning. Take a look at what we do over HERE.
