What is the Clear the Clutter Challenge?
I can hardly believe it, but this is the FOURTH year of the Clear the Clutter Challenge. Every year in January, my friend Keri and I have organized a declutter your home challenge. This is the perfect time of year to get your house clean and organized.
Each week, we will tackle a specific area of the home. During this challenge, we will give you 8-10 tasks per week to complete. You can work at your own pace and complete all the tasks in a day or spread them out during the week.
The best way to do the challenge is to stick with the schedule and also use the Ultimate Decluttering Guide.
Don’t worry if you start the challenge late or you fall behind. It is okay to work at your own pace. But, if you are motivated to get the challenge done in the 8 weeks, we are here to help you do that!

Why Decluttering is Important Right Now
You might be struggling with the motivation to declutter your home right now. But, so many of us who are spending a lot of time at home, it is even more important than ever to clear the physical and mental clutter from our homes!

Will I Really Be Able to Declutter My House in Eight Weeks?
This Challenge does take a lot of work. If you don’t think you will have time to work on it each week, find a time when it will be possible. Or work at your own pace.
Our Eight Week Decluttering Challenge is intended for you to complete your whole home in 8 weeks. But, we know life happens and everyone has a different situation. If you fall behind, pick up where you left off when you can.
There may never be a “right” time to get started but even a little bit of decluttering is better than none at all.
If you are serious about decluttering your home, then we encourage you to work at this pace! Schedule some time in your calendar each week and hold yourself accountable.
When you declutter your home, you can expect to feel a sense of relief. Your home will feel like a sanctuary and you will not feel like you are constantly cleaning!
