Several months ago, it was hard to believe there would be a time that we would be rushing around in the evenings again. But, here we are with the back-to-school busy season! I do not want to complain as I am happy to see the kids back to their favorite activities.
But there is one part of the dinner rush that is a little hectic and that is actually getting a quick and healthy meal on the table!
Today, I have partnered with Gorton’s to share a delicious classic meal that you can serve your whole family. Most people are very familiar with Gorton’s and their fish sticks. It is a classic meal that many of us enjoyed in our childhood! Gorton’s frozen fish products are a freezer staple we can all count on.
If you have diverse group of eaters, read on as this Air Fryer Breaded Fish Fillets meal is a dinner that everyone in the family can enjoy!
AIR FRYER BREADED FISH FILLETS
Before I get started on the Air Fryer Breaded Fish Fillets recipe, I want to point out that you CAN make this recipe WITHOUT an air fryer! There are many ways to cook Gorton’s Fish Sticks including the oven or microwave!
We purchased an Air Fryer awhile back and I can say that cooking frozen foods in the Air Fryer is delicious! We are hooked on this cooking process.
So let’s get started on the Air Fryer Breaded Fish Sticks and then I will share some delicious, kid friendly dipping sauces.
HOW DO YOU COOK FISH FILLETS IN THE AIR FRYER?
Cooking your breaded fish sticks in the air fryer is super easy and so convenient! If you do not see the Air Fryer Cooking Instructions on the back of your Gorton’s product, you can always check on cooking instructions on their website.
For the Crunchy Fish Fillets, Gorton’s recommends air frying them for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees. If you have an air fryer, I recommend using a parchment liner. I use these liners for everything I cook in the air fryer. It makes clean up easier plus nothing sticks to the pan!
I cooked the Gorton’s Fish Fillets in my air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. I take out the fillets half way through the cooking time and then flip each one over for even cooking. After ten minutes, the Fish Fillets were cooked to perfection! Allow them to cool for a minute or two as they do come out hot!
Now, for the fun part, putting together all of the dips for the fish fillets!
DIPPING SAUCES THREE WAYS
There are so many amazing dipping sauces you could make with your Breaded Fish Fillets! Just do a quick search on Pinterest for Fish Fillet or Sticks Dipping Sauces and you will find plenty! I put together a few dipping sauce recipes based on I know my family will like to eat! But, there are so many dipping sauce ideas out there!
The best part about these dipping sauces is that you can make them ahead of time. In fact, I found that chilling the dips for a few hours made them firm up a bit. This is one of those dinner recipes that you can get ready early in the day and then just put it all together at dinner time!
If you make the dips ahead of time, all you will need to do at dinner is to air fry the fish fillets. It can not get much better than dinner in ten minutes!!

My girls would love these!
It is a very kid friendly recipe!
Zach is obsessed with fish and chips and would absolutely love everything about this! And I’m totally crushing on your dipping sauces. Will have to give this a try in my air fryer. Thanks for sharing!
What brand of air fryer do you have?
We got the GoWise after reading a lot of reviews. It is very easy to use and good size for a family.
So I followed your instructions for cooking the fish sticks in my air fryer. After 10 minutes they were temping at 127…. not sure why. So I put them in for an additional 5 minutes and they were perfect. My air fryer only goes to 390′.
I have found that air fryers can all be a little different. Any more now I air fry everything at 380/390 and just check on the food every so often until it is cooked how I want.
