Today, I’m linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals to share a Christmas Home Tour! I love getting glimpses into other people’s home and see how they decorate. This past weekend, my mom and I went to a holiday home tour in our town. It is one of my favorite events of the season and I always get so much inspiration from the tour.
Personally, this is my favorite time of year to decorate and in the last few years I’ve actually been sad to take it all down after the holidays. Every year I take pictures of my decorations so I can remember where I put things. I have certain spots where I always put the same decorations and then other areas that I like to mix up every year.
The kitchen is my favorite place for seasonal decor because there are so many little spots to change things up.

I am totally obsessed with the Mrs. Meyer’s Pine Scent hand soap! It smells heavenly!

I always update my tiered mugs for the season. This set up is ready for some hot chocolate customers. I keep it easy and inexpensive and just swap out candy and some Target dollar spot straws and stir sticks. I like decor that is functional and also consumable!
I am always moving little things around so you might notice the ‘Peace’ sign in a few spots!

This little corner of my kitchen has also been updated with holiday decor. It is so easy to swap out the candy in the dispenser to match the colors of the season.
I add little strands of garland wherever I can. It’s inexpensive and it instantly makes a little space feel festive.
One of my favorite spots is our card holder with our past year’s own cards. It’s a great way to look back at the family pictures and guests seem to enjoy looking at them too!
Besides my kitchen, my dining room has the most Christmas touches!
In my dining room, I’ve done something new and I’m loving it. I have kept the dining table set all the time. It makes all the difference to the dining room. We rarely eat at this table and if we do, I just move the plates to the side! It might sound like a pain, but it really isn’t an inconvenience! Does anyone else keep their formal table set all year?

I have been seeing these gnomes everywhere! Anyone else jump on the gnome train this year?! This guy was too cute to pass up so I decided to add one to our home.

More garland and more buffalo check on my mantle!

Finally, I’m sharing my boys’ room. The kids all have Christmas trees in their rooms. I let them have free reign on what goes on their tree and how they decide to decorate. It’s a great way to pass on some of those ‘favorite’ ornaments that no one can seem to part with..ha ha!
