This post is written in partnership with the Girls Guide to Buying Cars. All opinions and experiences are my own!
Happy Tuesday everyone! My daughter and I had a great trip to San Francisco this past weekend! I’ll be sure to share the details on our trip soon! In the meantime, I am gearing up to attend the Cleveland Auto Show at the I-X Center this weekend. Whether or not we are in the car buying mode, my crew and I go the Auto Show almost every year and it is always something we really enjoy. Be sure to stick around to the end of the post for your chance to win two tickets to the show!
The Cleveland Auto Show is a totally family friendly event to attend. We bring some snacks for the kids and usually let them pick out a treat too. Since it’s at the I-X center, the kids always beg to go on the Ferris Wheel (the sacrifices we make for them!). There are many interactive exhibits and fun things for the kids to do. We always take advantage of all of the photo opportunities in all the race cars.
Having fun at the 2017 Auto Show
My kids love getting in every.single.car. It’s perfect though, because my husband and I can take a look at so many cars and narrow down ones that would be a good fit for our family. I’d much rather take the kids to the auto show and see all the cars at once then lug them around to a ton of car dealerships! Another thing I love, there is no sales pressure at the auto show. We can look at cars at the pace we want and on our own terms. If we have any questions, there are friendly people on hand to provide us with answers.
Last year, we were checking out all of the family car options besides minivans. We already own a mini van and love it, but we wanted to explore a different option for my husband. He is still driving his 10+ years old Toyota around and we still haven’t made a move on getting an updated car.
I’m excited to see what’s new and exciting at the Cleveland Auto Show this year! We always end up spending a lot of time at the Toyota area. Both of our cars are Toyotas and they have been so dependable and reliable that is is hard to go in a different direction.
One of the most talked about Toyota models right now is the all new Toyota Avalon.
As Toyota’s largest and most luxurious sedan it has been redesigned with a refined new look with a diamond cut grille, a sculpted exterior and luxury details. Toyota’s top of the line sedan features a 3.5 liter V6 engine or a 4 cylinder hybrid and multiple drive modes including Sport and Sport+.
My favorite new feature in the Avalon is the Apple Car Play– just plug in your iPhone and it is mirrored on the touch screen, allowing you to play your music, make calls and send and receive texts! Perfect for moms on the go!
Also, I always like seeing the new updates to the Toyota Sienna (since I currently own an older model).
Besides Toyota cars, I will be checking out all the other car options. Specifically, I’ll look at all the SUVs with (easy to access) third row seats! I’ll share all the details with you soon!!
