Easter Themed Charcuterie Board
Easter is almost here! Do you need an appetizer or dessert for your celebration? This Easter themed charcuterie board is perfect for your holiday brunch or dinner! Festive and kid friendly, this Easter appetizer is sure to be a crowd favorite!
Easy Easter Appetizer Charcuterie Board
This year, I have made several holiday themed charcuterie boards and I just can’t stop! It is so easy to throw today a platter of sweet and salty treats that I know everyone will enjoy. While this appetizer platter is Easter themed, you could easily serve this for Mother’s Day or any spring brunch. Charcuterie Boards are a great appetizer for serving a crowd!
When I put one of these Charcuterie boards together, I always start with what I have on hand. Take inventory of what kind of nuts, seeds, fruit, veggies and crackers you already have in your refrigerator and pantry! You don’t need a huge serving of each type of food item, so it’s nice when you already have a few of the things!

What to Include in a Easter Charcuterie Board
Now that I’ve made several of these charcuterie boards, I stick to the same basic formula:
*2-3 Crackers
*2-3 Cheeses & Meats
*2-3 Kinds of Fruit
*2-3 Types of Veggies
*1-2 Nuts & Seeds
*Chocolate or Other Candy
*2-3 Dips or Hummus
For this Easter themed appetizer, I used the same type of items for the board but made them more “Easter” specific.
The first thing I made sure was on this platter were Peeps and Pastel Candy Eggs. I am not going to lie that I picked out the chocolate eggs for selfish reasons:) I can stay away from Peeps forever, but those malted chocolate eggs are TOO good!
Then, I thought about what type of other snacks would fit for an Easter themed appetizer! These graham cracker bunnies from Annie’s are a great kid friendly, spring themed snack! My youngest son is not into candy, so I think he ate the entire bowl of bunnies by himself. When I make these appetizer platters, I make sure to include a few things that I know each person will eat!
Also, the butterfly crackers are very appropriate for springtime! If you hang out in the snack aisle for a few minutes, you can easily brainstorm a few snacks that fit the spring theme. Think flowers and animals! Even pastel colored Goldfish would be great for this platter!
I added in some spring time (bunny favorite) veggies including radishes and carrots! Plus, I selected a blueberry cheese and a white cheddar cheese–both are nice spring flavored cheese options!
Easter Themed Family Activity
Honestly, once I started thinking about spring themed snacks, I came up with more ideas that I had room for on the platter! If you were really ambitious, you could even cut up your cheeses into flower shapes. Or make some mini sandwiches and shape them with flower or animal cookie cutters.
Charcuterie boards have become a family favorite for family nights at home. We enjoyed this Easter themed platter for our last Saturday movie night. Consider serving this appetizer while watching a “bunny” movie like HOP or Peter Rabbit!
You could also make up this Easter appetizer platter for an easy weeknight dinner leading up to Easter. Or serve this as a big snack when your family dyes Easter eggs.
Whether you are looking for an easy appetizer for your Easter brunch or dinner or you just want to have a fun Easter themed meal with your family, this Easter Charcuterie board is quick and fun to make!
Once you make one of these appetizer platters, you just might get hooked on them like I have! 🙂
