Fall Home Favorites
Hi Friends and Happy Tuesday! October is really chugging along already…so shall I say speeding along?! I am really trying to be in the moment this fall and appreciate the simple things! Every day doesn’t have to be a big fall party! It is nice just to appreciate the small things that fall has to offer including crisp mornings, pretty landscapes and heart warming recipes. What do you love most about fall?
Since fall is one of my favorite seasons (after summer that is!), I have a lot of blog posts on all things fall! Today, I wanted to round up all of my fall posts and put them in one spot! This is your quick reference for all of my fall posts.
Autumn Home Decor
Taking it back to the beginning of my blog, my very first home tour was a COZY FALL HOME TOUR. It is so fun to look back at how the house looked in previous seasons. I definitely recommend taking pictures of your seasonal decor…you remember how you styled things and it inspires you for the next season. Looking at this picture, it makes me realize I have a lot more stuff on my counters these days. I think I want to get back to simplicity.

Last year, I am now realizing, I went with a lot of neutral fall decor. You can check out my 2018 Fall Home tour over HERE!

This year, my fall decor was a mix of color and neutral.
Inexpensive Fall Pillows
I rounded up a lot of inexpensive fall pillow ideas. If you are trying not to go overboard with seasonal decorations, one of the simplest changes to make is with pillows!

Halloween Celebrations
Halloween is a fun mid-fall celebration especially when you have little kids! Over the years, we have loved making Halloween a family celebration. We spend the weeks leading up to Halloween talking about our costumes and all the candy we will get to eat.
Usually, we also celebrate Halloween with a small family celebration or two. A few years ago, we had a Family Halloween Boo Bash. The kids and I spent a day during their fall break working on Halloween themed snacks together. It was a fun and memorable way to get excited about Halloween together!
How to Host a Halloween Boo Bash
This year, we decided to keep it easy and last weekend we had a Halloween themed family movie night! I gathered some Halloween themed snacks and then we all decided on a few movies together (Nightmare Before Christmas and Ghostbusters).

Easy Halloween Activity
If you are looking for a really easy Halloween activity to do with the kids, check out these Mini Halloween Gingerbread houses! Each of the kids made a Halloween gingerbread house the other week and now we have a cute Halloween display!
Halloween Children’s Books
Another easy way to celebrate Halloween is to gather up all of your Halloween books and display them in one spot! I found this adorable wood bucket Marshalls to store all of our Halloween books!

Cute Halloween Pillows and Decor
Do you like to decorate for Halloween? Usually, we keep our Halloween decor pretty minimal. Although a few years ago, I did transform our bar cart into a Halloween theme.

Pumpkin Muffins
Our favorite fall recipe is hands down these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. I have been making these muffins for years and the kids still request them all of the time. Be sure to make a double batch and freeze half. Then, you can warm up the muffins for a delicious fall breakfast or snack!

Fall recipes don’t just mean hearty soups and warm muffins. Salads can also be included in your fall menu! A few weeks ago, I shared 9 Delicious Fall Salad Recipes!

Simple Fall Fun Ideas
Fall is a time of year when you want to do all the things! There are so many family activities to consider including a taking a trip to the pumpkin patch, picking apples, going on a fall hike… you name it! Keep your schedule simple this fall season and pick a few of the things you really want to do.
While it is easy to feel like you need to complete a big fall bucket list, keep in mind that it is just as fun and a lot less stressful to do a few fall things. Live in the moment of fall and really take in all that this season has to offer. A cozy night in on the couch with your family can be just as exciting (and a lot more relaxing) then a lot of other fall fun list options:)
In this post, I share a simple fall fun list printable to fill out with your family. I give my two cents on picking activities that really suit your family’s needs and schedule!
