Fall Stitch Fix Review
Happy Tuesday! Fall starts this week but truthfully I have already transitioned to the new season. My house is decorated for fall and I have started wearing my fall outfits. The weather certainly has been cooler these days.
Speaking of fall outfits, I am so excited about my latest fall Stitch Fix Box. If you have been following along, you may know that I order a Stitch Fix every other month. I find that Stitch Fix is a great way to try out new clothing without having to do the hard work of shopping! I actually skipped my last Stitch Fix box because I was pretty set on summer clothing. So the last Stitch Fix box I received was in May.
Therefore, I was very happy to get my fall Stitch Fix Box!
How Does Stitch Fix Work?
First, let’s cover the details on Stitch Fix.
Stitch Fix offers a clothing subscription service for women, men and children.
- You decide how often you want to receive a new clothing box.
- $20 styling fee. The fee is applied to your order if you keep any clothing.
- Stitch Fix offers women’s sizes 0-24W & XS-3X,.
- They also offer subscriptions for children! My daughter has a subscription to Stitch Fix Kids!
- The average price point is $55 per item but you can decide how much you are willing to pay for each category–pants, tops, accessories, etc.
- The Stitch Fix women’s line works with over 250 established and up and coming brands. There is clothing for every style type–classic, preppy, edgy, etc! They even offer athleisure clothing and shoes!
- 25% discount on entire order if you keep 4 or more items.
Stitch Fix started over 9 years ago and it was one of the first women’s clothing subscription boxes. I remember when Stitch Fix first started and all of my friends were giving the service a try. The company has evolved over the years to include men’s and children’s subscription offerings too.
My daughter has tried the kids’ clothing subscription and we were very happy with her boxes. Unfortunately, she has grown out of the childrens’ service now.

Fall Stitch Fix Box
The best part about Stitch Fix is that you can ask for specific types of items and your stylist then searches for those items for you! They really do the legwork for your shopping needs!
This month, I asked for a backpack, a casual skirt or dress and then casual daytime outfits. I got a little bit of everything in my Fall Stitch Fix!
1. Cupio Blush One Pocket Knit Top
The first item in my September fix was this black basic knit tee. Although, this top was not at all basic! It has a nice knit material that looks and feels a little dressier than your basic tee.
This black top can be worn tucked in or tucked out. It is a little longer in the back so you could wear as a tunic. The black tee is perfect to wear under a cardigan.
I appreciated the $30 price point, which seemed right on target for a nicer black top (that I wear a TON).
VERDICT: KEPT!
2. Animal Print Floral Renee C Skirt
I was so excited my Stitch Fix stylist delivered on my request for a cute but casual skirt. This cotton knit skirt looks floral from far away but actually is appears to be an animal print close up front. I like that it doesn’t scream animal print (only because I have a lot of animal print).
The fall color palette of the skirt is so pretty too. I paired the skirt with the Cupio black top and a jean jacket for a fun fall look.
So happy with this skirt–total win! Priced at $48 it is a little more than I would expect to spend on a skirt. But, I love the versatility of it, so I was willing to spend a little bit more.
VERDICT: KEPT
3. Market & Spruce Olive Top
The third item in this Fall Stitch Fix was this pretty and lightweight olive knit sweater. Stitch Fix always offers nice, knit sweaters for every season. I got a pretty sweater in my last Stitch Fix box that I ended up keeping.
These sweaters are perfect when you want to wear something just a little nicer out and about but you can always wear at home.
While I really debated on keeping this sweater, the price was $58 and I decided not to purchase.
VERDICT: RETURNED
4. Mix by 41 Hawthorn Purple Top
The last top in my Stitch Fix box was this Purple 3/4 top from Mix by 41 Hawthorne. I absolutely love this rich color for the fall.
It is a very soft top and it would be good for hanging out with the family or running around town.
However, I am not a big 3/4 length top fan. It just feels like the top doesn’t fit me well instead of being an actual three quarter length shirt.
VERDICT: RETURNED
5. Sole Society Backpack
Last but not least is this Sole Society Cognac colored backpack! I know Sole Society is a great brand and makes a lot of different purses.
Even though I already have a fall backpack, I was still looking for a new one in a different color. This cognac color is very pretty.
However, something felt off about the back pack and I don’t think I loved the material of it. It just didn’t look as nice as I had hoped.
Since I did not love it and it was priced at $64.95, it was not a hard decision for me.
VERDICT: RETURN
