Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My daughter left for sleep away camp yesterday, so we celebrated Father’s Day with my husband on Saturday. We had the opportunity to spend a Family Day at Swings N Things in Olmsted Falls! It was one of our favorite Father’s Day celebrations that we can remember. Today, I wanted to share a little bit about our day at this fun park! ** Be sure to stick around to the end of this post for a chance to enter to win a Family Four Pack of tickets for Swings N Things!
I can honestly say my family and I had never been to Swings N Things! I was so surprised by how much there was to do. We spent over four hours there and we could have even stayed longer.
There are so many attractions for the whole family. Our first stop was playing golf on one of the two miniature golf courses.
My crew loves miniature golf. My husband and I are a bit competitive with this game and we always keep track of who wins 🙂
The golf courses are so cute and scenic!
After playing a round of golf we headed over to the bumper boats. We happened to be at Swings N Things on a 90+ degree day, so a water attraction did not sound too bad!
Our family of five were the only ones out on the boats at this time, so we managed to get each other VERY wet!!
We were starting to get hungry but my five year old insisted on one more ride! So we got stopped at the go cart tracks! In order to drive your own go cart on the big track, you need to be 58 inches otherwise the child needs to ride with an adult.
My daughter, husband and little guy rode on the big track. My 9 year old, who is not 58 inches opted for riding on his own on the junior track. The junior track is a perfect and less busy option for the younger crowd!
Now our crew was REALLY hungry for lunch. So we headed inside to the cafe to order lunch.
There are several food choices but the best option was a large pizza and a pitcher of lemonade:)
We had a few minutes to wait for our pizza, so the boys headed over to the kids play zone. I was really impressed that this play area is supervised by a staff member!
After a tasty lunch, the kids were ready to play some games in the arcade. There are plenty of the usual arcade games and some fun different ones.
There is even a mini bowling alley which we didn’t get a chance to try out.
My daughter and husband had fun playing guitar hero.
This little guy won 250 tickets just after his big brother won 250 tickets! He was so EXCITED!
My boys could have spent hours here but it was time to head back outside!
Now it was time to do the activity Swings N Things is known for–the batting cages!! Even my husband had his turn hitting some balls.
It took a few moments for her to find her groove, but then my daughter had a blast hitting softball pitches.
Kids need to be six years old to participate in the batting cages, so my little guy and I headed back to miniature golf to try the other golf course. The course is this guy’s happy place. He seriously could have spent the whole day playing putt putt.
Once we were all together again, it was time for some of Swings N Things famous homemade ice cream! Their ice cream is made at this location!! They have so many ice cream flavors that it was so hard to pick. We are officially hooked on their ice cream–SO GOOD!
With full bellies and lots of good memories, it was time to leave the park!
A rare opportunity for mom to get in the picture (with an uncooperative little guy!) It is a sure sign of a good time when my five year old does not want to leave a place!
We will definitely come back for a visit this summer! It is a great way to spend a family day together. There is something for everyone to do here!
Thank you so much to Swings N Things for hosting our family and getting a chance to visit! While we were hosted for this experience, my review is entirely my own.Â

What a fun day you had spending a day at an arcade enjoying the games and pizza. Putt putt golf and batting cages are always fun.
My son would love this place. It’s got all the activities he loves to do! Also, is it just me or does that castle looks a bit like Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World??
I’ve never seen a place with batting cages plus so many other options! That junior track looks perfect for families with a range of ages like mine.
What a memory building adventure! Love all the options you were able to explore. Thanks for sharing – the pictures really capture the fun. 😀
I love the batting cages. I remember doing this kind of thing with my kids. Great times.
Oh, man, I wish I lived closer to THAT! Looks like an amazing fun park.
