Happy Friday! I can’t believe the kids will be back to school next week. What a fast summer! Wish I could say the same about winter:( But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Fall is a pretty great season too. Anyway, I’ve got a Friday Favorites post that includes a few back-to-school tips, a Walmart top for fall that is a dupe for a more expensive version and Target beauty products. Let’s get started:)

Back to School Tips

By this time next week, my kids will have been in school for a few days. It is amazing how that switch happens. One day we are planning trips to the pool and the next day we are packing lunches and dealing with homework. Ugh. I got things a little more festive at our house (to help get us in the school mood) with a Back-to-School themed coffee bar. Give me all the coffee as those early mornings will be tough the first few weeks:)

Over on Instagram and Facebook, I’ve been sharing Back-to-School tips to make the transition a little easier. Be sure to check them out as I will continue to share more tips until next week! I’m also working on our Back-to-School dinner and I can’t wait to share the details with you. Read about this back-to-school tradition (along with some of our other first day of school traditions) over HERE.

Must Have Fall Top

It seems that Walmart is REALLY trying to set themselves as a on trend fashion shop! I have seen so many bloggers partner with Walmart and share their favorite fashion finds. Walmart seems to have a lot of fashion “dupes” of more expensive styles.

For instance, this new Waffle Knit Tunic looks exactly like the Free People Tunic that has been around.

I just bought this tunic in the APPLE JUICE color, which really looks like a mustard color. It is SO soft and cozy. You can not beat the price.

Now, I want one of these tops in every color. So perfect for those crisp and cool fall days. Would look cute with a cargo jacket too.

Something I just realized, is that Walmart ships for free to your local FedEx store. (which happens to be 3 minutes away from me.).

I am just starting to go down the Walmart clothing rabbit hole as I have seen a bunch of other cute styles. Hopefully the clothing will wash well and the price will not be too good to be true! Have you bought clothes from Walmart before?

Target Beauty Samples

Do you ever shop the beauty samples section at Target? There is a spot at Target that has a TON of good beauty and skin care products in smaller sizes. It is a GREAT way to try new products. I have found some great products by trying them out this way.

The BEST part is that the samples are BUY 3 GET ONE FREE! Each of the products range from $2-$4, so it is really a good deal.

Yesterday, I picked up a few new products plus some of my favorites.

My daughter and I LOVE the Marshmallow face mask. It is a perfect travel size.

I’ve been wanting to try Collagen but too scared to try a huge container of it (in case I didn’t like the taste). The face wash is a new product I am going to try. The hair gel is a repeat purchase and one that my daughter and I also like.

Also,  I bought 4 samples for my daughter to keep in a little bag for school including a mini deodorant, face wipes, mini brush and hand creme. With after school sports, it is nice to have a few toiletries on hand!

That wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites! We have a few last things we want to do this summer break and we are planning to accomplish most of them this weekend:) Hope you have a wonderful Friday! I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well!

I’m checking out the tunic! I have just ordered two other clothing items from walmart, but actually not walmart brand come to think of it. The pack of samples you got for your daughter is so cute! I love the idea. I want to try micellar wipes, so now may be a good time to do so!

I’ll be happy to see more Walmart clothing reviews. Sometimes they have such great stuff, it’s just such a big commitment to go into their giant stores!
