Friday Favorites:Valentine’s Mantle Decor, World Market Finds and Work Out Plan

Happy Friday! This week really flew by. The kids were off of school on Monday and then my youngest was home sick for a few days. So, I was all off on my days of the week. I am really happy it is truly Friday:) As usual, I am sharing some Favorites in the way of Home, Style and Family! Thanks for stopping by!

One| Valentine’s Day Decor Updates

Over the weekend, I swapped out our coffee bar for a few Valentine’s decorations. I did not buy a thing, instead just used the few Valentine’s specific decor and then just gathered up things from around the house.

Little decor changes like this make the home feel warm and cozy. It takes me just a few minutes to swap things out for the next season.

Similarly, I made a few changes to our dining room mantle. I still had a winter/Christmas theme going and I hadn’t been inspired to update the area. I was able to find pink and neutral pieces from other places in the home to tie a Valentine’s mantle theme together.

The sign is a favorite. I ordered from Smallwoods last year. The vase with pink flowers was from my master bathroom. I just added the scarf (Target find) and heart garland (also Target). Simple and pink–just enough Valentine’s decor for the room.

Two| February Workout Challenge

Between illnesses and a busy schedule, I have not gotten back into a workout mode as much as I would have liked to by now. So, when I saw this fun challenge “Love is in the Air” from Lake Life State of Mind I was excited! This couples workout challenge starts in February and goes all month long. Fortunately, it is a short month, so the Challenge shouldn’t be too hard to complete:)

There are no fees or requirements to join the challenge, but you will get some e-mails and be a part of a Facebook group. I thought it would be a fun way for my husband and I to get motivated to work out. We have some fun spring travel plans, so now is the time to get in shape:)

Three| Fun Organization Finds

I came across as few fun organization tools finds as I have been working on decluttering our home. A few of my favorites:

Paper Organization

This metal mail holder is so stylish and functional. It is a great deal. Nice and attractive way to store ingoing or outgoing mail. There are a few different metal finishes to choose from.

Jewelry Organizer

We are organizing bedrooms this week and one thing I mentioned was displaying your jewelry in an organized way. I already have a necklace and bracelet holder, but I could really use another earring stand. Specifically an earring stand that could hold my smaller, stud earrings. I came across this stand and it is in my cart right now.

Four| World Market Finds

Last weekend, I shared on Instagram that my boys and I went to our local World Market Going Out of Business sale. The store is relocating, however, they were getting rid of most of their inventory.

Everything in the store was at least 50% off if not more than that. Incidentally, we did not get these poufs as one had a snag on the bottom. I am kind of kicking myself that I did not get the other pouf. They were so pretty in person.

We came home with a new beaded chandelier (one that I have been eyeing for a while). I am finishing up a office/craft room update and this chandelier will be perfect for the room. I also got the rose/blush colored pillow (similar option here) for our master bedroom. We have a lot of gray in the bedroom and I am starting to add some more warmth and color to it.  Now that I added the pillow to our room, I am eyeing these pink items including this ottoman and set of glass vases. So pretty!

Most definitely, the kids favorite find at World Market was a Soda Stream Fizz. We have been wanting one of these for a while as we love sparkling and carbonated water. We scored this Soda Stream for over 50% off. (Basically the cost a two month’s worth of sparking water cans!).

The Soda Stream is so easy to easy and there are no cords or batteries needed. We got a few fun flavor mix ins because these were also on sale. Overall, we are so happy we got one of these. I don’t know that it will completely eliminate our love of La Croix and Spindrift, but it will certainly cut down on the cans we drink. Plus, my kids have ended up drinking a lot more water in the process!

Five| This Week on the Blog

It was a busy week on the blog and in case you missed any of the posts!

Monday, we continued on with Week 3 of Clear the Clutter: BEDROOM ORGANIZATION! I will admit that I had a hard time getting everything done with week with the kids home. So, I still have a few projects to wrap up this weekend. It is okay if you fall behind on the Challenge! Just pick and catch up when you can.

Also, this week, I published the latest Super Bowl Commercial Bingo Cards! This is the third year, I’ve made these Bingo Cards. The Big Game is just over a week away. These Bingo Cards are a super fun way to watch the game, especially if you have kids that are watching the game. Current e-mail subscribers can go to the Free Printables library and log in to access the Bingo Game.

Also this week, I rounded up some of the Best Valentine’s Day ideas for kids and families. Valentine’s Day is all about LOVE and what a fun excuse to do some cute and fun activities with your family.
