Hi friends! Happy Friday to you. How has your week been going? It is hard not to be anxious and fearful these last few weeks in light of COVID-19 I’m trying to stay upbeat when fun events are cancelled and spring break trips are rescheduled. We have made some tough decisions to cancel some of our upcoming trips (including a fun NYC trip planned in a few weeks), but, we are keeping things in perspective. Everyone one is dealing with these same things. Our minor inconveniences and disappointments do not compare to what others are going through now (and always!).
Anyway, I’m still trying to keep things light over here with some Friday Favorites of the week. Just some things I wanted to share in home, style and family.

One// Squeeze the Day
One bright new spot in our house is this new Squeeze the Day Lemon sign!
I popped into Michael’s last Friday and it had me thinking SPRING! I loved all the new spring decorations.
I could have scooped up so many cute things. The only things I came home with were the lemon sign and one bunch of yellow flowers. It is so nice and cheerful to see some pops of yellow around the house.
I will probably head back to Michael’s this weekend to pick up a few Easter crafts. We have a lot more time at home these days, so I want to have some crafts and activities on hand when we get bored! These wooden bunnies and eggs would be so fun to paint!! Edited: I did go to Michael’s and grab some crafts since school is closed for at least 3 weeks!
I think I will get out our Easter decorations this weekend. I’m not sure what Easter decor I currently have in storage. After each holiday I try to pare down decorations I didn’t use. As a result, when the holiday comes around again, I don’t always remember what I kept and what I tossed!

Two//Cute Hair Accessories
Have you gotten on board with any of these trendy hair accessories this spring? When scruchies came back into style, I was all IN! Now, that cute barretts and headbands are back in style, I could not be more thrilled. I plan to do a big post on all the hair accessories soon, but I wanted to share some favorites now. Hair accessories are a fun way to pull together your look.
So many of these cute hair accessories are great for all types of hair styles–short, long, curly and straight! Clips are a super fun option right now. It is cute to pull back one side of your hair (or both). This variety pack of 20 clips is a total deal!
These silk hair scarf scrunchies are really pretty! The pack of 5 plus two regular scrunchies is a great deal. They have a 5 star review too, so it is a total value! I have one hair scarf scrunchie that I wear a lot, so I ordered this pack for more options.
These type of scrunchies really seem to gentler option than regular rubber bands on the hair.
Another hair accessory option is headbands! It can be hard to find headbands that don’t give you a headache after awhile. But I keep seeing this set around and it has rave reviews. At this price, it is worth giving these a try.
All of these hair accessory options would make for a great tween or teen girl Easter basket gift or two!
Spring Cleaning Challenge
We kicked off the Spring Cleaning Challenge this week and I am not going to lie that we started off with some big projects! On Monday, we cleaned our windows, and it ended up being a two day job for me. You can get the recipe for an EASY and super effective window cleaner recipe HERE. You probably already have all the ingredients at home.
Join our Challenge at any time here and you will get the 30 Day Checklist. Work on your own pace for follow along with us on Instagram! Every day, Keri and I hop onto Instagram stories and share tips and cleaning hacks for the daily challenge.
Dusting Glove
One of my blog readers sent me a message about a cleaning glove that you can use to clean almost anything. She absolutely loves it and recommended that I give one a try. So I just ordered one this week. I love microfiber clothes, but I think this will be another good cleaning tool!
I think it will be great for dusting. You actually only need to use water with this cleaning glove–no other cleaning solutions! Have you used a Nano Glove?
On the Blog
Earlier this week, we talked about another cleaning home hack! I shared an simple method for cleaning your Converse sneakers (or other canvas sneakers). This is a great solution for those old, dingy, white shoes you have in your closet. I was ready to toss my daughter’s white Converse high top sneakers and I was so happy to restore them to almost as good as new!
You can read more about this cleaning hack HERE.
That about wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites! I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well!

Love all of the spring decor especially your lemon sign…these things brighten us up during scary times! Enjoy your weekend Jaclyn 🙂
Oh gosh, you’re in Ohio, I heard about their schools being closed. It’s spring break this coming week so most are closed anyway (we are not closed because our break is later!) so I wonder how they decide to make it longer!
Squeeze the day! Love it! AND you squeezed a whole lot of good stuff into this post! Happy Friday! XO
Those cleaning gloves look great. I should buy a pair for all of my boys as I did discover today that they have not been doing so great at dusting; they seem to mostly focus on the floor when I ask them to clean.
