I say this every week but Friday rolls around very quickly! While time seems to move a bit slower at home these days, at same time it is hard to believe we are through the first week of May! As usual, I am sharing a few Friday favorites in home, style and family! It is nice to keep things light and focus on the positive right now.

One // Chalk Art
Driveway art has become a thing for so many people during this quarantine. Many stores are out of sidewalk chalk! Last week, my daughter wanted to do some chalking and we realized we need some new chalk. I searched online and there was a huge mark up on chalk.
But, I did find this Crayola set at Michaels and I used curbside pick up to get it! We typically buy sidewalk chalk from Dollar Store and I am now realizing there is a difference in the quality of chalk. Maybe it’s just that now we have such a better variety of colors.
Baby Yoda
We had so much fun the other night chalking up our driveway.
Two // Favorite Denim Shorts
For the last few years, I have stuck to these tried and true shorts from Target. I was reading how Erica did a review on jean shorts and I was so happy to see that one of her favorites were these shorts (because they are so cheap and my favorites too!). This week, they are on sale for less than $15 (now back to their normal price) so I ordered this distressed denim pair and this colored denim one.
These shorts are true to size and they have a good amount of stretch especially in the waist.
It is also a great brand that is Fair Trade Certified and uses more sustainable fabrics.
Three // Winc Wine Club
One night last weekend, the weather was perfect and we had a date night on the patio. Even though we have been home for the last few months and spending a lot of time together as a family, my husband and I haven’t had an at home date night.
It was a good excuse to try out a wine from our Winc Wine Box. I have been intrigued by this monthly service for some time and I was excited to try it out.
You take a quiz to get some suggested wine options. But, you also have the option to pick out your own wine. I like that you can customer ratings on the wines and there are a lot of price points. You get four bottles of wine per month but you can opt in or out for any month.
It is a great way to try out some new wines and it takes the guess work out of picking wines because you have a less overwhelming selection to pick from (than at the grocery store). Right now, you can use my affiliate link to save $22 on your first order. Plus, there is not a shipping cost!
Winc would make a great gift for an anniversary or Mother’s Day!
Four // Family Recipe Binder
Earlier this week, I shared a new post on how I recently organized our family’s favorite recipes. I’ve got some printables to help you do the same thing. This will make your meal planning so much quicker and easier because you will have all of your top meals in one spot. No more referring back to Pinterest for the same recipe.
If you are an e-mail subscriber, you can log on to the Free Printables Library. Or you can sign up today to get access to all of my printables!
That about wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites. Besides Mother’s Day, my husband and I also celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. We are planning another date night at home, which if I’m being honest, is how we usually celebrate our anniversary! Happy Mother’s Day to all of you and have a great weekend!
Love the Baby Yoda and super cute shorts! Have a beautiful Mother’s Day!
Love both sets of short and have some like them- you will probably wear them all summer- Happy Mother’s Day Jaclyn!
Chalk has been one of those hard to find things! Love your designs and the shorts are really cute!
Sidewalk chalk is definitely a favorite of ours. I ended up finding some at our local Walgreens, of all places. Happy Friday!
All those chalk are designs are great!
Happy Anniversary – and Mother’s Day! That’s great you were able to find some good chalk, and oh wow, those drawings are amazing!!! I love the house from UP.
