Happy Friday! Fall officially starts next week so summer is just about over. That is okay over here as I am starting to make the pumpkin recipes and decorate for the new season. The kids just wrapped up their third week of virtual school. We found out that they will go back to a hybrid schedule in a few weeks. Just when you get used to one routine, a new one begins! Anyway, as usual, I am hopping on today to share some Friday Favorites in home, style and family!

ONE / CHUNKY KNIT BLANKET
This week, I am starting with my favorite new cozy fall find. I ordered two of these chunky knit blankets this week. These blankets have the look and feel of more expensive chunky blanket options for a fraction of the price.
I put one on our master bed and then my daughter took the other one. There are so many pretty blanket colors to choose from and they add such a warm texture to any room.

I do not change out the decor in bedrooms for the seasons. But I do typically swap out a blanket or pillow. So, these fun blankets were an easy seasonal swap out.
TWO / TRADER JOE’S FALL FINDS
Earlier this week, I shared fall finds from my latest trip to Trader Joe’s. I only shop at Trader Joe’s once or twice each season. It is not the most convenient location but it is worth the effort to visit every so often.
Fall is the best time to shop at Trader Joe’s if you like fall inspired foods with apple, pumpkin and caramel!
THREE / HALLOWEEN OUTDOOR DECOR
Normally, I stick to fall decor for our front porch. This year, I decided to embrace Halloween porch decor! I still have a few things to work on, but I am digging the cute Halloween set up. This October 31st pillow is a new favorite.
It came in a set of four Halloween Pillows. So, I plan to use the other pillows in my boys’ shared bedroom.
Also, this spider web door mat just arrived and it looks so good layered with my black and white rug.
I’ll share all the details on our Halloween Front Porch next week (hopefully). Do you stick to fall or Halloween outdoor decor?
FOUR // PLAID SCARF HACK
Speaking of porch decor, I add a few things fall to our back patio. One of my favorite seasonal decor hacks is to use scarves as decor. I love inexpensive plaid scarfs from Target (in the Target Playground bins). They come out with new colors and patterns for fall and winter are are $5.
I’m not trying to go crazy with fall patio decor but just want to make it a little cozier for our fall nights outside.
These inexpensive Bandanas would be a pretty decor idea too!
FRIDAY WRAP UP
That wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites! I hope you a wonderful weekend. Last weekend we had our first backyard fire pit for fall and I am hoping to do that again this weekend. See you back here next week!
Thanks to you I put together my fall TJ’s list this week and hope to get there this weekend! I have those pillows thanks to you as well- got them last year after you shared- bet you didn’t even know you are helping to decorate my house 😉 Have a great weekend Jaclyn!
I feel honored–thank you:)
I love Trader Joe’s in the fall! We also just went to Aldi and they seem to have some fun things too.
My Aldi was just starting to get some fall things in but I am hoping for more fun options there.
I know what you mean.. my son switches to distance learning next week and then hybrid learning the week after that and then the week after that he’s back in the building… it’s been impossible to develop a routine other than the fact that we have no routine! LOL.
Great favorites. The granola bark look so good! I’ll bet your boys are going to love those Halloween pillows.
I’m keeping the granola bark tucked away so I can enjoy on my own:)
I need to head to Trader Joe’s now.
