Happy Friday! It has been a crazy week as it always seems to be before a big trip. But, we made it to the finish line and now the weekend is here! I hope you had a good week! As usual, I am sharing some Friday Favorites in the way of home, style and family.

ONE| $7 Blanket Hack

The other day I stopped in Marshalls and I fell in love with their assortment of Christmas blankets.  I wanted to scoop up a bunch of these festive blankets. However, I held strong because I didn’t want to spend the money ($20-$30 per blanket) on something that could only be used at the holidays. Not to mention I would need to find a place to store these thick blankets.

So, instead, I popped right over to Target and grabbed two plaid blanket scarves for less than $15 total. This less expensive option was a perfect way to get the look I wanted for my blanket ladder.

Now, at the end of the season, I can easily fold them up and save for next year. The best part is that these scarves will not take up a lot of space in storage. Or, better yet, I can just wear them the rest of the season–ha!

Speaking of scarves, I also scored a $5 soft infinity scarf at Five Below to use as a tree skirt for my daughter’s Christmas tree. This tree skirt option was at least half the cost of what I would spend on a traditional one.

It’s fun to come up with less expensive options that still look good especially when it comes to decorating!

Target Cozy Sweaters

Also while at Target, I spotted these soft and cozy sweaters! The price this sweater is so good. There are so many colors to choose from. I ordered the marbled orange one (but is more like a salmon color than an orange). I ordered one size up for a more relaxed, cozy fit.

While the online ratings are okay on this next sweater, I personally loved it when I tried it on.The sleeves are puffy and loose, which I liked.  You would want to order up if in between sizes.

Right now, if you spend $40 you save $10 (ONLINE ONLY)! Good idea to stock up on two sweaters that you like:)

One more Target find that I spotted at the store. How is adorable is this scrunchie set?! It is a great price point for a holiday gift. Such a cute and useful idea for tweens, teens, babysitters, friends…you name it! I am so glad the scrunchie phase is back:)
