Welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites as I link up Erika, Narci and Andrea to bring you my favorites from the week.  This week has been filled with holiday home tours, making cookies from our Christmas Cookie Advent and a little superhero!
Home Tours
This past Sunday, my mom and I went on an annual Holiday Home Tour in our town. It is a highlight of the season for us as we get to spend time together and do one of our favorite things–talk about decorating! I wish I could show you all of the homes but we aren’t permitted to take pictures. Let me just tell you the homes did not disappoint. The six homes were of all different sizes and styles with some decor tip I can take away from each one. I usually come home with a list of things I want do to my home so you can imagine my husband loves when I go on the tour. Ha ha!
Speaking of home tours, earlier in the week, I linked up with Andrea with my own holiday home tour. I loved getting to peak into other blogger’s homes! So many styles and fun ideas!
Also this week I also shared how I get ready for the holidays!  Maybe I should have named it, how mom stays sane during the holidays! I’m sure you can relate, this time of year is just crazy! Thank goodness for January and the quiet that it brings!
Christmas Cookie Advent Cookbook
Is anyone else in a baking mood?! This week, the kids and I have been baking up a storm. I’ve mentioned this Advent Cookie Cookbook (currently on major sale) that we love! My daughter got to baking some treats from the book this week. (I better up the workout routine these next few weeks!)
If you are looking for an easy and relatively mess free Christmas treat to make with your little ones, check out Keala’s Pie Crust Cookies from Recipe for a Sweet Life! She discusses the struggle many feel with wanting to make all the cookies this time of year, but dealing with the mess that this activity brings. This recipe is a perfect balance.
Little Superhero
I recently came across these adorable blanket capes by Super Blanky and was so excited my little guy was given one to try! He absolutely loves wrapping himself up in it. Super Blankys are super soft but a nice lightweight and a perfect size for little ones. These blankets are on sale right now exclusively at Target. My son loves PJ Masks so this one was perfect but there are also other favorite characters to choose from!
*Thank you for Super Blanky for providing this blanket!

That about wraps up my Friday Favorites of the week! This weekend we are headed to an indoor water park for a night. Wish me luck! My kids absolutely love these places. See you back here next week!
That Christmas Home tour sounds so fun! I would love doing something like that. My 3 year old is starting to show a love for baking so I may have to get that Advent Cookie Cookbook for the coming years 🙂 Happy friday and have a great time at the indoor water park! How fun!!!!
I love the idea for those pie crust cookies. My two year old would dig that, and I’ve always wanted to do a holiday home tour.
My nephews would love the super-hero blanket! I wish I was more into baking! Maybe if I was good at it, it would be a different story ?
Love all of these favorites!! My son would love that blanket!
What a fun week! The super hero blanket looks awesome! We’ve also been doing a lot of baking around here!
Oh my gosh my son would love that PJ Mask blanket!! I might just have to add that to his Christmas gifts. He has a sleep mat with them on it for school and loves it!! So cute!!
