Friday Favorites: Best Kids Board Games and Printable Delivery Driver Treat Note
Hi Friends! Friday we meet again. I can hardly believe there are just over two and a half weeks until Christmas. With Thanksgiving so late this year, it really makes for a short few weeks until Christmas. I’m hoping to get the last of my Christmas shopping done with weekend. I was able to wrap up the gifts for the kids during Cyber Monday (and Tuesday). Anyway, as usual, I am sharing some Favorites of the week in home, style and family!

ONE| Best Kids Board Games
Earlier this week, I asked for some suggestions for new board games in the Mom Life Simplified Facebook Group. We got so many GOOD IDEAS! I am sharing the suggestions,. There are a ton of games on sale on Amazon right now, so it is a perfect time to grab a few for the holidays. I like to get one or two new board games for each of the kids. Nice to have a good rotation of games during the winter months!
Games for Kids 7 and Up
TICKET TO RIDE Suggested by a mom and fellow teacher. I have heard so may great things about this game and I think my kids would really enjoy it.

CATAN JUNIOR Very popular game and the JR version is supposed to a good intro to the more advanced version. One mom said this game is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. She plays with her 7 year old.

YAHTZEE One of our family’s favorite games that everyone (ages 6/7 and up) can play.

SCRABBLE JR. I love JR versions of games for younger kids. The games move faster and the instructions are a lot easier. Plus, the game pieces are so cute and a lot easier to hold for little hands. I got this Scrabble Jr. game for my 7 year old.

TUMBALL This was suggested in the group. Near perfect reviews on Amazon and over 70% off right now.

It is always nice to refresh the game selection every holiday! What are some of your favorite board games to play with the kids?
TWO| Delivery Drivers Treats Free Printable
Did you see you seen the video this week of the Amazon driver reacting to snacks that were left out by someone on his route?! It is one of the sweetest videos I have seen in a while. I had my kids watch it and I watched it several times. Such pure happiness!
I was inspired to leave our own treats out for our delivery people. Our delivery drivers no doubt work extra hard during the holidays. Fill up a basket with some snacks and water for a nice way to let these drivers know they are appreciated.
You can download this DELIVERY DRIVER HOLIDAY TREATS PRINTABLE and then make up a bin of some treats and drinks. Such an easy way to spread JOY this holiday season.
THREE| Winter Window Boxes
Another favorite this week, was updating our window boxes. I am going to admit here that I neglected our window boxes this fall. Actually, I change out ONE fall window box…the window box I could easily reach. But, our second floor boxes sat neglected until last weekend.
So happy with how they turned out. Nice and simple but a refreshing change to our old summer flowers:)
I found the glitter stems at the Dollar Store. Then, the greenery is sold in bunches at Home Depot (for $7). Although you can’t really see them, I added in some ornaments (also Dollar Tree). Not only are window boxes nice to look at from the street, they are fun to look from the inside looking out.
I had wanted window boxes for a long time but they seemed overwhelming to style and manage. So far, I have really loved having them. They really take up the curb appeal of a home.

Wednesday, I shared my latest Stitch Fix box. It was filled with winter styles that are cozy and cute! You can see the entire box over HERE.
I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well! Next week I’ll be back with a warm and delicious recipe plus a holiday home tour! Have a great weekend.
