Happy Friday Friends! Here we are through the first week of December. I keep getting photo reminders on my phone and Facebook showing our Christmas fun of year’s past. You too? I am trying my best to embrace what this holiday season is looking like but it is sure sad. Anyway, it’s to bring a little bit of fun and light to the week with some Favorites in home, family and style.
Let it Snow
We got a TON of snow this week, which was a fun treat on December 1st. It was the perfect kind of snow for playing outside. Although, I always prefer to enjoy the snow from the indoors. Put me on hot cocoa duty and I am on it!
I did use the snow as an excuse to take our Christmas card picture. I will admit that I have been dragging my feet on cards this year and I almost considered not sending any. But, I have been sending cards for so many years, that I had to stick to traditions if nothing else.
Custom Gift for Lego Fans
I have the cutest gift to tell you about for your Lego fans! This custom Lego Canvas by Get Bricky is so fun! We received a complimentary Lego canvas and I shared it as an early Christmas present for the boys.
You get to personalize every little detail including the name of the Lego set, the number of pieces and age range. Get Bricky takes a picture (that you send in) and creates gifts that look EXACTLY like your Lego fans!
The boys LOVED this custom Lego gift. It was so fun to see their reactions once they realized the mini figures were actually pictures of them! Get a custom Get Bricky canvas, mug, phone case or banner and use promo code: Jaclyn15. You will want to order soon in order to get the Lego gift in time for the holidays!
Christmas Activities to do at Home
Well, as I mentioned, I have been feeling bummed about missing all of the usual holiday traditions. So, I came up with a calendar full of Christmas activities to do at home.
Download the 30 Day Christmas Calendar here.
I have another fun Christmas product in my Etsy shop. There is a set of Christmas Activity Cards that come with a mini easel. The easel looks really cute on a tiered tray or a shelf. There will be another card set available after the holidays, so once you buy the mini easel, you just need to order the cards going forward.
Black Friday Deal
So my big Black Friday purchase as a new Steam Mop. I have been wanting a steam mop for a long time but I did not want to spend a lot of money. This one was at a great price point and so far I love it! This is a lightweight mop that you can quickly get out whenever you need it. Some steamer mops can be big and bulky!
One of my least favorite chores is cleaning floors, mainly because I think it is never ending battle. But, I have to say, I am enjoying how clean and shiny the floors look.
Colorful Playroom Christmas Decor
Earlier this week, I joined a several other bloggers in a Holiday Home Tour. Since, the Christmas decor in most of our house did not change this year, I shared a new room. I took a colorful and playful approach to decorating our basement playroom.
It was fun to break out of the traditional Christmas color scheme and go merry and bright.
Once you read about our Christmas playroom, be sure to head to my other blogger friends. All of these ladies took a different approach to Christmas decorating, so it is fun to see each unique style!

Anyway, that is all for this week’s Friday Favorites. I hope you have a great weekend. If holiday shopping is on your list this weekend, I have all the Gift Ideas in the Holiday Guide. Happy Shopping!
I’ll be back on Monday to announce a fun challenge that starts in January. If you have been following along for a few years, you probably have a good guess on what the topic will be!
