Happy Friday Friends! I hope you had a good week. It has been the weirdest weather week here. On Sunday, it started off sunny and we got a start on organizing our garage. Midway through the project, it started to rain. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday, we had snow. We have covered the full spectrum this week. Anyway, as usual, I am sharing some favorites in home, style and family.
Spring Garage Clean Out
As I mentioned, we spent last Sunday cleaning and decluttering our garage. It was a huge project and we had been waiting for a warmer day to tackle it.
Fortunately, we were able to organize the garage in one day. We sold several items and we did not need to buy anything new. I posted about our garage organization over here, so you can read about how we made our small garage work for our family.
After a day of that kind of work, we had to treat ourselves to take out dinner. It is really tiring to do major declutter projects! So, it is nice to treat yourself after hard work.
Home and Style Finds
I have been working on projects at home this last week, so I have not been looking for the deals. Today, my mom and I are meeting up to do a little shopping, so I am sure I will come across some fun finds!
One store I plan to stop in today is Athleta. I have some reward points to use and I am eyeing the Brooklyn Joggers in this pretty Medival Violet color. The Brooklyn Jogger at Athleta is my favorite casual style pants.
They are so comfortable and you can dress them up or down. My teen daughter and I both have these Brooklyn Jogger Lined pants and we have been wearing them all Spring.

Self Care for Moms
Usually, in May, I do a 30 Day Self Care Challenge. It is a good time of year to assess your health and well being. Just before summer, May is a time to make sure you have a good routine. Especially if you have kids that will be on summer break at home. The beginning of summer is always a shift in routine for moms and it is definitely as adjustment for kids and moms.
Recently, I put together a Self Care for Moms Guide. It walks you through a personal self care assessment and then helps you to set new healthy goals. There is a Goals Worksheet Tracker and other worksheets to help you improve your self care.

Friday Wrap Up
This weekend, we will be celebrating my son’s birthday. He turns 12 next week. I always try to stay positive when another one of my kid’s birthday rolls around. But, I can not help feel a little bit sad that they are another year older. Can anyone else relate?
