Happy Friday friends! It has been such a pretty fall week here! Lots of sunshine and the perfect temperatures. We are ready for the weekend.
This is the last weekend before the kids start their hybrid schedule on Monday. They will be going to school every day in the afternoon. I think they are ready to do some in person learning as all those zoom calls can be tiring! But, after over six months at home, I think it will be a little sad for all of us!
Anyway, as usual, I am sharing some Friday Favorites in home, style and family!

1 // Halloween Porch Decor
Since Fall officially started this week, I thought it was perfectly acceptable to put out the Halloween decorations:) Each year, I pick one or two spots to decorate for Halloween. The rest of the house I like to have Fall decorations.
This year, I decided on a Halloween themed front porch! It was a lot of fun to put together. I found a lot of the Halloween decorations from the Dollar Store. Plus, I used what I had on hand and then filled in with a lot of pumpkins and mums!
Head over to this Halloween Front Porch Decor post for all the details!
2 // Favorite Apple Recipe
Last weekend, we made a trip to a local Apple Farm. We were a little worried about the crowds, because even in a “normal” year, these places are packed. But, we went right when the farm opened and it was honestly not too crowded.
We ended up with a lot of apples this week. Between the haul we brought home from apple picking and then I accidentally ordered apples in my Instacart!
So we made an apple crisp and then also our favorite homemade applesauce recipe!
If you have a lot of apples, I encourage you to try this applesauce recipe! Do not skimp on the brown sugar.
It is a great way to use a lot of apples!
3 // Target FindsÂ
This week I was “influenced” to buy a few things from Target by one of my blogger friends, Andrea Nine. She shared a big Target Try On Haul and I ended up purchasing two of the things she recommended. The first item was the cozy cardigan sweater in the Olive Color.
I have not received the cardigan yet as I had to order it online. But I am excited for (another) cardigan as I wear them all the time.
Andrea paired the cardigan with this Ciao graphic tee. I am loving graphic tees right now as they are great for layering on these fall days.
I usually start the day with a graphic tee and cardigan and once it warms up I take off the cardigan.
Currently both items are an extra 20% off with Target Circle.Â
4 // Stitch Fix Review
Earlier this week, I shared my latest Stitch Fix Box. It was a good one this month with a lot of fall styles. I ended up keeping two out of the five items. You can read this Stitch Fix post to get all the details on this month’s order.
I am excited because this weekend my latest Evereve Subscription is expected to arrive. So I will have more outfits to try on!
5 // October Challenge
Last month, Keri and I hosted a 14 Day Declutter Challenge. So many of you participated and appreciated this Declutter Challenge. So, we have decided to host a monthly challenge that will run each month from the 1st-14th. These challenges will not always be decluttering but will include a wide variety of topics. Just a little motivation each month to work on a different area in your life and home!
Monday we will announce the October Challenge and I can not wait to get started. We hope to provide encouragement and not to overwhelm you. So, if the time is not right for you to join in, we provide you the information to take on the challenge when you can!
Stay tuned for the Challenge announcement on Monday!
