Happy Friday! This week really seemed to fly by! Last weekend we were all about Halloween and this week, we are moving forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since we are not hosting Thanksgiving this year, we opted to put our Christmas decorations early. I have no regrets about this and I love waking up to twinkly lights! Anyway, let’s get to a few favorites in home, style and family!

Flocked Christmas Tree
One of the highlights of our holiday decor is this new skinny 7 ft Flocked Christmas Tree. It is our first flocked tree and I was pleasantly surprised that the tree did not shed that much.
I did not use any ornaments but instead I got this colorful pom garland. This is our basement playroom and we have never decorated in this room before. But it is nice to have a little Christmas down here.
Last weekend, I also picked up one of these Berry and Cedar Faux Planters. I had a very similar one for the fall and I liked the color it provided. This planter is very pretty and looks so nice on a shelf or a table.
Flameless Taper Candles
My last new bit of holiday decor this week was this set of Flameless Taper Candles and Brass Candle Holders from Lights.com. They sent these candles for me to try and I have to admit that I love them on our mantle.
Flameless Candles are the way to go because you do not have to worry about an open flame and you get an even better glow than you would from candles.
These Candles have a timer for 4 or 8 hours. Plus you can choose a flicker or steady flame.
I love the Brass Candle Holders as well. Perfect for a holiday display but I plan to use the Brass Candle Holders all year round.

November Stitch Fix
Earlier this week I shared my latest November Stitch Fix! This was one of my favorite boxes to date and I ended up keeping a few items.
Gift Wrap Organization
This week, Keri and I kicked off a 15 Day Holiday Organization Challenge. We encourage you to tackle one holiday task a day, so that the holiday season is not quite so overwhelming. One of the upcoming tasks is to organize your gift wrapping supplies!
Yesterday, I took inventory of what wrapping paper, tape and bows I had. Then, I ran to the Dollar Store to get everything I need.
It is a huge time saving to have all of your gift wrap in one spot. In my case, my daughter helps me with wrapping presents, so she knows exactly where to find everything!
Friday Wrap Up
That about wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites! The time that the kids are off at school goes by very quickly. So I need to finish some chores up around the house before the weekend begins. I hope you have a great weekend. See you back here next week!
Love the flocked tree- we snagged one this year for our bedroom too and I am in love! Please tell me where you got those plaid flats!! Were they in your Stitchfix box?
The plaid shoes were a Marshalls find a few years ago! My favorites!
That tree is so cute, and I love the garland you chose instead of ornaments. Loving the candles too – I’m sure they do put out a stronger glow than most candles.
