Happy Friday Friends! It has been a busy week and now this weekend we are hoping to get a few things done around the house. I was happy to get some shopping done during the Amazon PrimeDay Sale. Did you make any purchases? Anyway, as usual I am sharing some favorites in home, style and family.
One // Holiday Shopping
Did you take advantage of the Prime Day, Target or Walmart sales this week? There were some good deals and I was able to get a start on Christmas shopping.
Two// New Home Project
We have a new home improvement project in the works. My daughter’s bathroom is in need of an update and we put together some fun ideas. We wanted to feminine feel but also timeless enough to grow with her as she gets through the teenage years.
This home project has been on my mind for awhile and we debated on an entire bathroom redo. However, we decided to stay within a smaller budget and do a project that we (my husband) could do on our own.
So we are leaving the shower alone and making changes to the vanity and flooring. Some of these items we already own and several we will need to purchase.
Project Sources
Gold Glass Vintage Vanity Lights
White Faux Hanging Macrame Plant
This week, we demo’d the room and hopefully this weekend, we will get more done!
Three// Designer Dress Days Sale This Weekend
This weekend is the annual Designer Dress Days Sale and I am so excited. I have been looking forward to this shopping event ever since I went last year and scored a gently used designer purse for a HUGE deal.
The sale is back this year in a safe and organized way. Friday is a by appointment only event which is already sold out. But, you can attend Saturday or Sunday and there is no charge those days.
Designer Dress Day is at a new location this year!
Thriftique Showroom
5055 Richmond Road
Bedford Heights, OH 44146
My friend and I are headed to the sale today, so I will be sure to share my finds over on Instagram!
Four // Inexpensive Wall Art Idea
I’ve been meaning to put a piece of wall art above our basement fireplace. A few months ago, I purchased a print from this Etsy shop but I never did anything with the file. This week, I ordered a poster print through Staples for just $30. I love how this print turned out and I am so happy to finish this inexpensive project.
You can find beautiful inexpensive art prints of every style on Etsy. So, I definitely recommend shopping on Etsy first if you are looking for a new piece of art. Then, ordering the print from Staples. This can be significantly less expensive than buying art from a typical retail store!
Friday Wrap Up
That wraps this week’s Friday Favorites! As I mentioned, I will be headed to the Designer Dress Days Sale today. Then, the rest of the weekend, we will be working at home on our project. The weather looks cold and dreary, so it is the perfect weekend to stay at home.
Hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be back on Monday with a new Gratitude Idea to start with your family in November!
Oh wow- what a fun project! Can’t wait to see how it turns out~ Yes started Christmas shopping…now I want to get it finished early and get everything wrapped because when it comes to wrapping I am the worst procrastinator! Have a great weekend Jaclyn 🙂
good thinking–I need to wrap when these gifts come in too!
We just had our upstairs shower redone because the tiles broke off the wall. I would love to replace the vanity too. I’m sure yours will look great!
Cannot wait to see how your project turns out! Have so much fun at the designer dress days, I wish I could go to them!
Yes I bought a few things from Target and Amazon. I can’t resist a good deal! I hope you were able to score something from the Designer Dress Days Sale. It sounds like a great event! Looking forward to your home project and seeing the completed work. Happy Friday!
