Happy Friday Friends! We’ve got just one more weekend in July. Wow. As much as things are turned upside down right now, time still moves very quickly! We are hoping to soak up as much of summer we can can. The kids still have 4 weeks left of break. Anyway hope you had a great week! I am sharing some favorites in home, style and family!

One // National Ice Cream Day
We kicked off this week by celebrating National Ice Cream Day (on Sunday). Who are we kidding, we do not need a holiday to eat ice cream:) So, we had fun making our own mint ice cream.
We store our homemade ice cream containers in one of these fun reusable tubs.

Two // Charcuterie Boards Delivered
Last weekend I got a sweet surprise from a local company, Riverside Board Co. Two moms in my community came up with the idea to create and deliver Charcuterie Boards! I sure love a good Charcuterie board, so this could not have been more fun!
These ladies offer specific Charcuterie Boards for birthdays, happy hour and even holiday themed! Local friends, this is a such a fun option for a night at home or to gift to a friend.
Delivery is available but you can also pick up your box. To get in touch with Riversideboard Co you can follow them on Instagram or send an e-mail to riversideboardco@gmail.com
Three // Back to School Planning
Whether you are homeschooling or sending the kids to school that is completely a personal choice. (Or there isn’t a choice if your school is starting with virtual). But in either case, now is the time to get organized. In a “normal” year, the back-to-school season can be chaotic and stressful. Then you add in what is going on this year, and the back-to-school transition is very crazy!
But, there are a few things we can do now to ease into the transition. On Monday, I shared a back-to-school checklist to make sure you are getting organized for school!
Do some of these little things now so that you can enjoy summer but not feel as rushed once the 1st day of school rolls around!
Four // Selecting the Right Desk for your Child
Speaking of school, you might be working on setting up a desk or homework station for your kids. Wednesday, I rounded up 12 Reasonably Priced Desks for Kids. Plus, I talked about what questions to ask yourself when selecting the right desk for your child.
At my house, we are working on a good desk set up for my boys in their shared room. Currently, each of them has a smaller desk which has ended up as more for storage of their stuff than for actual studying. When trying to come up with a solution, I scoured Pinterest and found many good ideas.

We decided we are going to create a shared desk space with pre-made storage drawers from Ikea and then a large block of wood. I will keep you posted on how this works out. Here is the inspiration board I put together. A lot of these items we already own.
Gumball Machine // Navy Blue File Cabinets // Brown Faux Leather Computer Chairs // Black Metal Lamp // Black Lidded Glass Jar
Brown World Globe // Galvanized Wall Organizer // Hanging Wall Tapestry//
You might remember that we are still working on my husband’s home office. We are finishing up this project and once we get the shelves up we will be done. So then, I can start on the boys’ desk project!
Anyway, that wraps another Friday Favorites! I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well! Hope you have a great weekend!
