Hi friends! Happy Friday! It has been a quick week over here. Lots of time spent with family and friends. Plus, we had a last minute garage sale yesterday and today. So I am beat! I’m looking forward to a little down time this weekend. Anyway as usual, I am linking up for Friday Favorites includes the latest in home decor, style and mom life!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends on August 5th. Did you snag any good deals? There were a bunch of deals to be had but I stuck to just a few things.
In a post a few weeks back, I mentioned i was eyeing this Converse Shoreline Sneakers. I decided to get them as I know that I will wear them often. Once fall hits, I will trade my sandals for these Converse Shorelines.
After the Anniversary Sale is over, these Converse Sneakers will go back to $60, so now is certainly the time to grab them. This is my second time I’ve owned the Shorelines and I like that they are easy to slip on and a little something different than gym shoes.
Also, I was looking for a little bit dressier yet casual shoe, so I got these Steve Madden Sneakers. They fit great and I like the little detail at the top of the shoe.
The price of these Steve Madden’s will go up by $30 after the sale, so this is another great deal.
While hands down, I prefer summer clothes to fall/winter…there is a small part of me that is looking forward to fall booties and leggings. Anyone else have similar feelings?
If you are thinking about getting anything during the Nordstrom Sale, now is the time!

Garage Sale Finds
As I mentioned, my friend and I had a garage sale yesterday (and today). Last year, we had a sale together and we barely made a dime! We swore we’d never have another one, but here we are again dragging things out of our homes.
Maybe you can relate, but I have been in a decluttering and organizing mood this last week. Perhaps it is because a transition is coming soon with back-to-school. Either way, our garage sale was a great way to get really focused on decluttering.
Over on Instagram, I asked you all if you liked to have garage sales, and the majority of you said garage sales were “TOO MUCH WORK”. I hear you.
One bright spot all of my garage sale work was scoring a pair of gently used Hunter Boots from a nearby sale! Normally, these Original Tall Hunter Boots can run over $150, so I was excited to grab these for $15…complete with the sock inserts!
I did check out Hunter’s website and there is a huge sale going on! So if you can’t find a pair at a garage sale, you might want to check out this 50% off sale:)
World Market Dining Bench
Lastly, a few weeks ago I mentioned a dining bench I had ordered during a sale at World Market. I am happy to report that the bench worked out (at least I think so!). The bench is actually more of an outdoor bench, but it was the perfect size for a very large dining table. I really wanted to swap out one set of our chairs for a long bench. This allows for more seating and I also think gives it a little more rustic/casual look. I went a little outside of the box with this box by picking an outdoor bench but I really think it works. Plus, it was a great price!
The bench is made of eucalyptus wood and is very kid friendly as it can easily be wiped down to clean. It looks like it is sold out, but there are some other awesome bench options still on sale at World Market.
World Market Sale
That wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites. I’ll be back next week with a back-to-school post and a Stitch Fix kids unboxing! In the meantime, I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well!

I got the same Shorelines, I think you saw that on my post earlier this week! Love the bench and great find on the Hunter boots!
