Happy Friday! Four day school and work weeks are the best! This week went by so quickly. Today is the last official day of school for my kids. Although, they have a few Zoom meetings next week. We are happy for a break from online learning. Anyway, as usual, I am sharing some Friday Favorite in home, style and family.

One // Marshalls Online Finds

Is anyone else missing the home stores like Marshalls and Homegoods? This past weekend, I stopped into our local Marshalls that just reopened. Honestly, I was a little disappointed in the selections which was mostly spring stuff that was all on sale. From that I have heard, Marshalls will continue to clearance their current inventory before bringing in new items.

So, I think I will stick with Marshalls and Homegoods online for now. There are a lot of cute summer things on Marshalls online right now! Here are some of my favorite Marshalls finds:

Love this yellow planter. Would brighten any porch or indoor space!

I ordered a few of these textured baskets. They are great to corral magazines, blankets and toys. The textured look makes them look more expensive than they really are.

You can always find a wide selection of pillows at Marshalls and Homegoods. This soft pink pillow is gorgeous. A little pricier than most pillow offerings, it would look great on a bed or armchair.

This inexpensive, white textured outdoor pillow is so pretty too!!

Do you do better with faux plants? I have a mix of fake and real in our house. Those faux plants certainly hold up better:) This looks like a nice set of faux succulents. Love the wood trim with the white.

These ottoman poufs might just make it into my cart this weekend. They look sturdy and a good size. I love using ottomans both indoors and outside to add a casual seating option or footrest.

Oh how I wish I could be shopping carefree and easy at Homegoods and Marshalls:) Have you made it out to the homestores?

Some day we will get back to some sort of shopping normal!

Two // Versatile Summer Sandals

Are you a Birkenstock fan? A few years ago, I bought my first pair (after a 20 year hiatus) and I do not know how I got by without them. Birkenstocks are so easy to throw on and you can wear them with any summer outfit! My husband and daughter both have pairs too and it is sometimes hard to keep our own pairs sorted out. My daughter and I have this exact same pair.

This spring, I added a new pair of Birkenstocks to my closet. I wanted a pair of slip on shoes that I can wear for the pool and beach. These waterproof Birkenstock sandals are even more versatile than the leather made. I love that I can wear this pair around the yard and by water and I do not have to worry about them getting ruined. Not to mention this pair is a lot less expensive than leather Birkenstocks.

I have the sandals in a gold color but it appears to be sold out.

Three // Easy Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe

I am always looking for healthy and delicious snack options for the kids. With the kids home all the time, we go through snacks so quickly! I found this Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffin recipe from Money Saving Mom. This is a great portable snack that takes minutes to make!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

2 and 2/3 Cup Flour (I used white but a mix of white and whole wheat would work!)
1 1/2 Cup Oats
2/3 Cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Oil
2 eggs beaten
6 oz chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400 and line muffin pan with silicone liners or grease. Mix dry ingredients and mix wet ingredients in separate bowls. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredient  bowl. Mix in the chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 2/3 cup full. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Makes 18 muffins.
What are your favorite snacks to have on hand in the summer?

I went into TJ Maxx this week. Got some clothes for Gabbie but no HomeGood items. Every time I check the website it says they are done for the day! I have been wanting Birks!
