Friday Favorites: Summer Camps, Birthday Favorites and Summer Salads
Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. It has been a great one here. We celebrated Father’s Day and another birthday (mine) during quarantine. While I guess we are not still technically in quarantine, things are still far from normal. So, we opted for a dinner at home. It was a fun celebration. The kids kept asking if my birthday was good and I could honestly say it was as fun if not better than usual! Thankful for a summer birthday because it means we can celebrate outside. Anyway, as usual, I am sharing a few Friday favorites in home, style and family!

one // Summer Camp at Code Ninjas
One big favorite of the week was a Star Wars Summer Camp for the boys at Code Ninjas. I’ve talked about Code Ninjas earlier this year, and unfortunately, those classes came to a halt during the start of the pandemic. Code Ninjas is offering in person (and on line ) camps now in very small class sizes.
The boys have been going all week, Monday-Friday from 10-Noon each day. It is the perfect amount of time to get out in a safe way! Everyone wears masks and the computers are spaced more than 6 ft apart. My youngest was a little bit nervous to go. He has not been away from my husband or me in over 3+ months! But, he has absolutely loved the camp!
Now the boys have taken what they learned at camp to our house and they have been showing me all of their new skills!
You can check out all of the camps at Code Ninjas Avon HERE!
Thank you to Code Ninjas for partnering with me to share our love of Code Ninjas!
two // Birthday Shopping Finds
While the boys were in Code Ninjas camp, my daughter and I were able to fit in some birthday shopping time! We grabbed some drinks at Starbucks and shopped at several stores that were open. Some stores at our outdoor mall are still closed indefinitely!
I used my birthday coupon at Evereve to get a few things including this dress and this graphic tee.
The graphic tee is so soft and it was a deal because I had a coupon. I love the rainbow lettering and the messaging.

The dress had me because it was purple and tie dye! Since it is strapless, I will usually wear a jacket or cardigan over it.

It was a fun splurge but I already have worn it once, on my birthday. For some reason, I started a birthday tradition of taking pictures with the kids. It is bittersweet to see how much they grow each year when I look back at this pictures!
My daughter is catching up to me in height and then here she was eight years ago and she was barely as tall as my pregnant belly!
Always happy to celebrate my birthday with this crew!
When I hopped on Evereve to find these items for you, I spotted this leopard print mask and I think I need to get it! Who would have ever thought we’d be picking out fun face masks to wear this year?!

three// Farmacy Skin Care
Another stop on our birthday shopping trip was Sephora. My daughter loves to go there and show me all the products she has seen and heard about. She recommended I try the Farmacy skin care line.
I prefer more natural skin care options and Farmacy is one of Sephora’s Clean Certified Beauty Products. Since, I was looking for a new facial cleanser, I tried the Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser. We spoke with a Sephora employee who always agreed that Farmacy was a great skin care option so I am giving this one a try!
After a few washes, I can say that the cleanser is very hydrating and it is leaving my skin very soft.

We are also trying this sampler pack of several products and I already love the cleansing balm!

The packaging is gorgeous and all of the containers are recyclable. The wood lids are so pretty and everything looks nice on your bathroom counter:)
four // Summer Salads
Earlier this week, I shared some salads for summer! Salads are so good for light dinners and side dishes for BBQs and Picnics! Our new favorite salad is this Prosciutto and Melon Salad. It was a big hit as a side dish for dinner this week!
You can check out more Summer Salad Recipes HERE!
That wraps another Friday Favorites! I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for this Friday Favorites post, so be sure to head over to their blogs as well! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Those masks are so cute and I adore your new dress. Yay for Code Ninja, sounds like great fun for the boys!
Happy Happy Birthday Pretty Lady! Looks like it was so special. On another note, I am going to make that salad this weekend! Have a great one XO
What a great idea taking pictures with you kids each birthday!
Thank you Katherine. Usually we are kind of dressed up, so it is a nice time to get a photo in.
I think my son would be scared to leave me too! He did some online coding camps. I love your face mask. Happy birthday! Your daughter is definitely getting tall!
