Happy Friday friends! It has been a long week over here. We lost power due to a wind storm on Sunday afternoon. We did not get our electricity back until Tuesday night. Fortunately, we had a place to stay and there was not any damage to our home. Needless to say, we are appreciate of our warm home and all the conveniences we are so used to.
Anyway, on a lighter note, I am sharing some favorites in home, style and family.

Few Fun Finds of the Week
I picked up this cute pair of candy cane striped pajamas. This pajama set is so cozy and the price is really good!
I do not see the exact set online but it is part of this collection.
While I was at the store, I saw that this item from my Teen Girl Gift Guide was a great price! This mini refrigerator is a really fun gift for teens for their rooms.
My daughter wants one to store her cosmetics.
If Gingerbread houses are one of your annual holiday traditions, now is the time to get them! Like everything else this year, gingerbread kits might be hard to find eventually. My eight year old asked to get this fun Mario Gingerbread House.
Anything goes this year right?!
I added this set of white globe lights to our kitchen chalkboard. Everyone in the family has taken notice to the lights as they give off a cozy glow.
Dollar Store Snow Globe Craft
The kids were off from school last Friday, so we worked on a holiday craft together. Last year, made these Dollar Store Snow Globes. But this year, we made them with a twist. I found these plastic snow globe containers (not ornaments) at the Dollar Tree.
I love that each of the kids came up with their own scenes. My 12 year old’s Christmas present stack might be my favorite snow globe.
It is a fun and inexpensive winter craft to do with the kids!
Holiday Baking Shopping List
The other day my youngest son came with me to the store. He spotted all of the holiday baking goodies and then asked if we could make gingerbread cookies.
It was a fun activity and we got excited thinking about all of the Christmas treats we want to bake. Cozy Bedroom Ideas
Earlier this week, I shared some tips on Creating a Cozy Bedroom. With all of this time at home, as we head into winter, it is nice to create a warm and cozy bedroom.
Friday Wrap Up
I can not believe that next week is already Thanksgiving. It will be very quiet here as it will just be our family of five. We are headed on a trip this weekend, which will be a nice change of pace from the routine. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
So sorry to hear you were without power; I dread power outages. We lose ours quite often and it’s always such a pain. I forget just how many things like our water pump, etc. are controlled by electricity.
Cute pajamas! I have been looking for an affordable set without buttons on the shirt!
Stealing that snow globe idea! Those are adorable!! And so are your jammies!
