Cheers to Friday! I hope you had a great week! We had a great trip to Chicago last weekend. So this week, we have been recovering from the fun weekend. It has been a few weeks since I have shared some Friday Favorites. As usual, I am rounding up some favorites in home, style and family.

Summer Travel with Kids

It has been a busy week with traveling. As I mentioned, last weekend we visited Chicago. It was a busy three days of sightseeing. My husband and I lived in Chicago for several years and our oldest two kids were born there. So, we enjoyed seeing familiar sights and some new places as well. I will share a trip report soon in case you plan to visit Chicago with kids!

Then, earlier this week, my son and I went on a little adventure together. The other two kids were tied up with activities, so we enjoyed our one on one time.

We had the opportunity to take a road trip (about an hour and 15 minutes away) to visit Zoar Village. We had a delicious lunch at a small town diner. Then, we got a history lesson about Zoar Village and its origins.

I will be sharing more information on Zoar Village soon! If you are in the Cleveland area,  it is a fun day trip to take with the kids!

Small Jewelry Organization

Did you shop the Amazon Prime sales? I honestly did not find much in the way of good deals. We did get this new bathroom scale that links to an app on your phone. I usually do not weigh myself, but my husband likes to and I thought this one was good because you could get a lot of stats.

Yesterday was my birthday and one thing I wanted was a small jewelry box. I have a lot of small chain necklaces and of course a lot of Iviana and Co earrings! I saw this stackable jewelry box on an episode of the Home Edit.

The jewelry box they mentioned was from the Container Store. But, this box I found was a great deal and had good reviews. I love it! It looks nice and sleek on my dresser. Most importantly, it has a lot of different compartments for all kinds of jewelry.

It is a unique jewelry box as the compartments are not attached and they are stackable. I really like how it functions.

Yearly Photo Collage

It took half of the year to hang our 2020 Photo Collage. Every year I upload pictures to Collage.com and create a 16 X 20 photo print collage. It is really easy and I do not even have to arrange the photos. I can move the photos around if I do not like the placement.

This is the one thing I do every year with our photos. I am not as good about printing out photos or putting them in an album.

We hang the Photo Collages on our stairs and we all like to look at them as we walk by. My kids make sure I make a collage ever year. I’ve shared more Photo Display ideas in this post!

Friday Wrap Up

Today, we are heading to Cedar Point, which is a big amusement park near me. As I have gotten older, I have gotten less brave about riding all the rides. Fortunately, my kids aren’t too daring either yet, so I don’t think I will have to ride any rides that are too scary!

Have a great weekend!

I am the exact opposite! I used to hate most amusement park rides and now I just love roller coasters!

Gabbie has a jewelry box like that one, but not as big. It’s pretty cool! Hope you have fun at Cedar Point!
