First, I don’t want to make you wait any longer, so I will announce the winner of the Mini Home Print Giveaway! In case you missed my post last Friday, one lucky follower is winning a personalized home drawing from Door Before. You send in a picture or two of your home and you will receive the most adorable 5 X 7 drawing of your home!

Door Before Mini Home Drawing

The winner is: Lacy! She is moving across the country to a new home this month, so how special that she won a print of her current house!  I will e-mail you today for you to claim your prize!

In case you didn’t win, you can still purchase your own home drawing from the Door Before! These prints would make EXCELLENT house warming, anniversary and Mother’s Day/Father’s Day gifts! Or, how special to have drawings made of all the homes you have lived in?!

All Things Valentine

This week, we turned our focus to all things Valentine’s Day! I shared a few ideas with you this week to create a festive and memorable Valentine’s Day with your family.

Monday, I chatted about an easy and unique homemade Valentine favor to make with your little ones. You can use the recipe for Homemade Play Dough and the printable gift tags to create adorable Valentine’s favors for your child’s class party!

Then, on Wednesday,  I shared ideas on how to make an easy, yet festive Valentine’s Day breakfast for your family. My ideas are recipes you can make in minutes but will be very memorable for the kids!

I stick to foods I know my kids will love and then just spice them up to make them festive for Valentine’s Day. Who doesn’t love cinnamon rolls?!

Birthday Girl

Our oldest daughter turned 11 yesterday and I can not even  believe it! We celebrated hard yesterday with pancakes for breakfast, a lunch date out of school and a favorite dinner last night.

She enjoyed a homemade card from her brother. I’m glad she is still amused by his humor…ha ha!

This Gummy Bear Candy Making Kit looks like it will be so fun!

Our new eleven year old wanted a Ukulele…she loves music and playing instruments! I’m looking forward to seeing her try out this new one!

As much as I get sad seeing her grow up, it is fun to have a side kick who is more like a little woman than a little girl! Next week, her and I head to San Francisco to see family and as a bonus, have some one-on-one time. I can hardly wait…she is a great traveler, so I know it’ll be a blast!

Favorite Jeans

My favorite buy of the week are the Old Navy Rockstar Jeggings. It seems I might be one of the last to realize this, but these pull on jeans from Old Navy are amazing! I have been seeing them around the Internet for awhile and recently I got an Old Navy e-mail mentioning that over 3000 of these jeans are purchased every day. The marketing totally got to me– I was curious! I’ve been loving Old Navy recently with their cozy sweatshirts that I talked about a few weeks ago, but now these jeans are a new favorite. You can’t beat the price (considering I’ve paid over $100) for some of my most worn jeans.

I love the elastic waistband –dare I say they are the closest thing to maternity pants! But, you would never know about the elastic waistband by looking at the jeans. They look like regular button front jeans!

These non ripped jeans are super cute..I just might have to get another pair!

Photo Organization

Lastly, we had a few weeks off from the Clear the Clutter Challenge, but this Monday we are back talking about photo organization! I shared this post on Instagram the other day and I am sure the topic something some of you can relate to! I actually took this picture three years ago when I was working on my youngest son’s first year baby book. Fast forward to today and the baby book is STILL not DONE! UGH!

I made 1st year albums for my first two kids with actual printed photos. Now, I rarely ever print a photo but I really wanted the kids to have a photo book of their first year. So, this weekend I am going to finish the book and work on a few other photo projects. If you want some extra motivation to get some de-cluttering projects done around your house, be sure to join our Clear the Clutter Facebook group!

That about wraps up my week! Have a wonderful weekend and hopefully see you back here next week.
