Hi Friends! I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! I was lucky enough to get to help out at two school Valentine’s Day parties. Between my daughter’s birthday last weekend and Valentine’s celebrations this week, I am ready for a quiet weekend! Anyway, as usual I am recapping the week with my Friday Favorites! Sharing a little bit of mom life and my latest favorite finds and products!
Valentine’s Day Wrap Up
We shared a whole lot of love this week to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, my husband was gone for most of the week.
But we celebrated a little bit early, last weekend, with a Valentine’s themed movie night and this yummy Valentine’s themed cheese board.
I shared all the details on how to make your own Valentine’s Charcuterie Board over HERE! It is not to late to celebrate Valentine’s..perhaps you can fit in a little themed celebration this weekend:)
As much as I love celebrating holidays, I am not always 100% prepared when the big day rolls around. Yesterday morning, we were scrambling with final details plus we had an early morning doctor’s appointment for one of my kids. It was a CLOSE call making it to the first classroom party I was volunteering at. Can anyone else relate to that last minute, don’t completely have your act together, trying to fit in too much feeling?!
I felt cozy and festive in my Pink Heart Sweater! It is one of my favorite clothing finds from Amazon!
Day in Mom Life
Speaking of hectic, I shared a typical day in my mom life. It was just a usual day, although I did share a slightly embarrassing story. Ugh!
The highlight of that day was getting to attend the Chuck E Cheese’s Grand Reopening Party. My boys had a blast!
I’ll share all the details of this newly renovated location on the blog next week!
Screen Free Way to Stay Connected
We are so excited about a new little device called Relay Go that my son recently received! He is about at the age in which a phone, or other way to get in touch with him, would be helpful. Whether he is staying later after school or he goes over to a friend’s house, there are times we want to touch base with him.
I recently partnered with Relay Go and we have been loving this device! It is a screen free way device that is perfect for kids! With the touch of a button, my son can connect with my husband, me or both us of in a group chat. You can set up to five numbers (called Channels) on the device. Everything is set up on the Relay Go app that is controlled by the parents’ phones!
It has been a perfect way for my son to connect with my husband who is out of town. Also, I have been loving hearing his voice when he gets on the bus or walks to the bus stop!
I love that is a screen free device, so there are no distractions. There are a couple of fun tools including a voice translator, a joke of the day and the ability to add music but there is no ability to connect to the Internet or send and receive text messages. The Relay Go requires no contracts and the monthly service fee is $9.99/month. You can get more details over on Relay Go (my affiliate link).
Next week, I’ll share the whole scoop on the Relay Go including my honest review! This might be a perfect solution for your child who is not ready for a smart phone but still needs to have a way to call you!
Target Dollar Spot Finds
So, I try to stay away from Target as much as possible. Maybe because I always find something to buy!  But, my daughter and I needed to pop in there and there were some cute signs of spring in the Dollar Spot!
This little plant mister made its way into our cart. I’ve seen these spritzers at other places including Homegoods. This one was only $3. It’ll be perfect for watering our smaller plants!
This DREAM mug with a tea strainer almost came home with me but I have so many mugs! Although I am STILL thinking about it…so usually that means you “should” buy it. I have been drinking tea as part of my nightly routine and this tea strainer is exactly what I need!
Lastly, this clipboard calendar is one of the most useful things I have gotten from Target. I bought a clipboard calendar just like this one over three years ago and I still use it daily! We keep the clipboard in the kitchen and use it to jot down all of our activities. I like having a portable calendar that I can take around the house. Plus, it is nice and easy for everyone to see, without taking up much space.
If you are looking for a easy family calendar, I definitely recommend using a calendar like this one. Now, I just find a free printable calendar online and replace the pages each year. This $3 calendar has been worth it! 🙂

Such a great week Jaclyn- love all of your creativity! Have a wonderful weekend!
Great Target finds! I have seen that calendar a few times but haven’t gotten it yet. The Relay Go also sounds like a cool option for younger kids!
That calendar is such a great find! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
