Happy Friday friends! It is the first official weekend of Fall. My daughter and I are leaving for New York City today. When my daughter turned 13 one and a half years ago, we surprised her with a trip to NYC. Unfortunately our trip was cancelled. So now, 18 months later we get to go! If you have any good suggestions for us to do or eat in New York, please leave them in the comments.

Wantable September Edit
One of the biggest topics this week at my house was packing for our trip. My daughter and I started packing last weekend. I thought I had my outfits all sorted out, and then I got my September Wantable Style Edit.
I shared my Wantable outfits on Instagram and next week, I have a blog post on my entire Wantable box. This floral dress is coming to NYC. It was a great Wantable order and I am excited to share it with you.
Halloween Activities Printable Calendar
Are your kids starting to talk about Halloween? My youngest son already decided he wanted to be a skeleton for Halloween. So, we quickly found a costume and we are done with one! I like that this skeleton costume is also pajamas, so he will get a lot of use out of it.
Speaking of Halloween activities, have you downloaded this 30 Days of Halloween Activities? This is a fun printable calendar to get in the Halloween spirit.
We do not do every activity on the calendar or not always in the order, but it is fun to do them all when we can. Kids are only little once, so it is fun to make the holidays special when they are little.
One more Halloween activity resource I wanted to share is my latest post on Halloween Activities for Teens! If you have tweens or teens in your house, this is a fun list of activities that kids can do for Halloween.
My kids and I came up with some Halloween ideas that they can do at home or with friends!
Oversized Plaid Blazer
I have been seeing a lot of Plaid Blazers at the stores this fall. You can spend a lot of money on a blazer. Since it is a trend that may or may not be around a long time, I was looking for an inexpensive option.
My favorite clothing find of the week was this black and gray blazer from Target. It is oversized and I know that is the look, but I prefer a slimmer fit.
So, I had to size down for a good fit.
Blazers can be dressed up with a cami or blouse but also worn with a graphic tee. I love all of the outfit options that are possible.
Olive and June Holiday Boxes
I was so excited this week to see that the Olive & June Holiday Boxes were released. These are advent calendars full of goodies for Hanukkah and Christmas.
These holiday sets would be a fun gift idea for a tween or teen girl! If you like to do advent calendars for the kids, this gift set would be so fun! Each day has a different polish or nail accessory! The value of the Christmas box is over $110 and the value of the Hannukah box is $91. But, you can get these boxes for $60 and $48 plus my promo code!
My daughter will LOVE this holiday advent box!

2021 Book Challenge
If you have been following along with me for awhile, you might know I had a goal of reading 24 books this year. Currently, I am up to 20 books but I have slowed down a bit this summer. It has been a busy month with the kids back at school.
My mom passed along this book and I plan to finish reading it on our flights to and from New York. I just started this book a few days ago and I can tell I am going to like it.
I also have my latest Book of the Month book on its way. This month, I selected Rock, Paper, Scissors. I have seen this one recommended on social media, so I think it is a good pick! After I finish these two books, I will have two more books to read this year to meet my goal.
Friday Wrap Up
That is about it for this week’s Friday Favorites! I’ve got a little bit of organizing to do before we leave for the airport later on today. I hope you have a great weekend!!
