Hi friends! Happy Friday! It has been a nice quick week and I am glad to be back to another weekend! Is it starting to feel like fall where you live? These last couple days here, we have seen crisp mornings and evenings. I am starting to make the crossover to the fall side. But, summer is still my favorite! Anyway, as usual, I am sharing some Friday Favorites in home, style and family!

Kirklands Fall Decor
Well, I have to admit it, I decorated our house for fall last weekend. While I was not quite yet ready to say goodbye to summer, I wanted to get out all of my fall decorations so I could see what I had. It can be tempting to buy new fall decor but I certainly have a lot of decor already.
I was so happy that I labeled all of my fall decorations boxes with very detailed descriptions. I went through all of my fall decorations and pared things down to what I truly love. Which meant I even donated and sold a few things on Facebook Marketplace.
Right now, I have very scaled down decorations. I will probably add a few Halloween decorations later this month. On Monday, I am participating in a Fall Home Decor tour, so check back on the blog!
I did decide to update some throw pillows in our family room. These faux leather striped pillows from Kirklands are a great addition to our family room. I did not practice what I preach and I bought pillows instead of just pillow covers.
But, I tried these pillow covers from Amazon in the wine color and they ended up being a bright red.
I’m happy with these new striped pillows because they are not just meant for fall. So it is likely, I will keep them out most of the year.
The yellow flowers are just temporary. I just ordered these fall floral stems.
Here are some other fun Kirklands finds that I spotted.
This rattan cake stand was on clearance so I ended up buying it. I love cake stands like these because you can use them anywhere in the house. This would be a good cake stand for the summer but I still put it out on my kitchen counter right now.
I love unique cutting boards too. You can use them for their intended purpose or for a charcuterie board or just to display. The round black cutting board is my favorite and it would look good with fall decor.
I mentioned not going too crazy with fall decorating but a few (or many) pumpkins here and there is okay too. This black ceramic pumpkin is so pretty in person and it lights up! I might need to go back and scoop this up.
Another unique pumpkin that caught my eye is this rattan one. It would look nice in a house with coastal decor or even just mixed and matched with other types of pumpkins in any type of decor!
Copper tones are so pretty for fall decorating. I stopped and had to take a look at this hammered copper canister set! It is such a pretty set and would look beautiful in the kitchen.
I love a good bowl in the kitchen. This low profile wood bowl is so pretty. The little etched detailing on the outside rim is really unique.
I only came home with the striped pillows and the rattan cake stand. But, I was sure tempted to buy some of the other items at Kirklands!
Mini Fall Declutter Challenge
Are you joining Keri and I in the Mini Fall Declutter Challenge? We started on Tuesday but it is not too late to join. You can catch up this weekend.
We worked on kitchen clutter this week including pantry, refrigerator and countertops. You can follow along on Instagram for more behind the scenes of the fall declutter challenge.
This weekend, we will tackle closets, junk drawers and toiletries.
Olive and June Fall Collection
I’ve mentioned before that my daughter and I have a weekly manicure date. It is fun to try new colors and she is way more up on nail trends than I am. We have been, almost exclusively, using Olive & June polishes for over a year now.
The polishes are free from the seven most harmful chemicals found in many nail polishes. The manicure does last a few days longer than other nail polishes. It is important to follow the Olive and June manicure process which includes a base coat and a top coat.
We LOVE the Olive & June Fall Colors Collection! The muted fall tones are so pretty.
The fall collection is a back-to-school theme and each color is named for a school subject. Social Studies (blue) and Art Class (purple) are my two favorites right now.

Friday Wrap Up
That wraps up this week’s Friday Favorites. Tonight we are heading to our local high school football game. I think it’ll be cool enough for sweatshirts and pants. My kind of football watching weather!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
