Are you looking to add some fall clothing to your wardrobe? I’m reviewing my Stitch Fix Fall box and sharing all the latest fall styles that were included in my Fix!
How Stitch Fix Works
*Some affiliate links used.
If you’ve been following me awhile, you know that I rely on clothing subscription boxes for stocking my closet with cute, on trend clothing. I’m in the season of life where my schedule doesn’t allow me to spend hours at the shopping mall. I’m much more likely to grab a half hour here and there at Target or Marshalls …and usually I’m looking for things for the kids and not me!
Stitch Fix and my other favorite subscription box, Trendsend, are perfect for busy women who like to wear trendy pieces but do not have the time to do the shopping.
With Stitch Fix, you fill out a detailed questionnaire with your style preferences, sizes, requests, etc! Then, a Stitch Fix stylist takes care of the shopping! You are sent five pieces of clothing including shoes and accessories (if you request those items!). You are charged $20 for the styling and shipping. However, if you keep any items from you Fix, the $20 is credited to the order! Return the items you do not want with a free shipping bag and mailing label! Plus, if you keep all five items in your box, you get a 25% discount on your entire order. It is a great deal!
Initially, I didn’t think my Stitch Fix stylist was “getting” my style. But, now that I am several Fixes in, I’ve had the same stylist and I am loving the items I am getting in my boxes!
So, what did I get in my Stitch Fix Fall box?
Short Sleeve Leopard Print Blouse // Alexander Jordan $36.00
Leopard print is all the rage this fall season. Although is leopard print ever not on trend? So, I was happy to receive a leopard print top in my Fix. Truth be told, I am not a blouse girl. I love the look on other people, but I don’t feel like I can pull it off.
However, this leopard blouse is ADORABLE.
I like that it is a soft material and it has a loose fit. This blouse can be layered in so many ways, with a cute jacket or a long cardigan!
I paired the top with a black jacket I got at Old Navy last year. P.S. This soft suede black shoes from Walmart are my new FAVORITE shoes! They go with everything. I also snagged the leopard print pair too!
It is hard to tell, and to be honest I didn’t realize this at first, but the blouse has a soft pink tint to it!
Black Terry Toms $55.00
My stylist tried again with another pair of Toms in my order. You may remember that I received a pair of Toms in my last Stitch Fix box and I felt like they were just a little too bright. So, I appreciate that my Stylist tried to find me a more neutral pair of Toms.
I love a good casual pair of shoes that I can wear out and out all day long.
Black V-Neck Tee // Market & Spruce $28.00
Next in my order was a basic black v-neck tee. This top was made of a nice knit material and is a great length. I am always asking for good basic tops in my order. So this top fits the bill.
A perfect top for layering under cardigans and cargo jackets.
Purple Striped Cowl Neck Tunic // Olive & Oak $58.00
Tunics are one of my favorite tops to wear, so I was happy to get this light purple tunic from Olive & Oak. This item came in as the most expensive top in my box, which I found a little surprising!
This is really a super comfy tunic top that I know I’d wear a ton once the weather gets cold.
However, I had a hard time getting over the price, knowing I can find cheaper tunics at the discount stores.
Camo Printed Leggings // Spanx $68.00
Spanx leggings are the best! They hold in all the right places and they don’t slip down from your waist. I love a good camo print and these are very fun!!
I have several pairs of Spanx leggings and they are my go to leggings once the cold weather hits!
What did I keep from my Fall Stitch Fix box?
Well, I was really happy with my order and I got a lot of cute things. One of the “challenges” with having a few ongoing subscription boxes is that I sometimes get similar items in different orders.
I already have several pairs of Spanx, so I did not need the camo pair. Since, I have some new fall shoes from the Nordstrom anniversary sale, I didn’t need the Toms. The striped tunic and the black tee were on the expensive side.
So, I keep one item–the leopard print blouse. I LOVE it! It is all about finding a few pieces that you love and that you know you will wear. So, I would consider this Stitch Fix box a success!
