Friday Favorites: The Most Adorable Giveaway
Happy Friday! I’ve got some fun things to share as well as an adorable giveaway–so stick around to the end! As usual, I am linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for Friday Favorites. I’ll share a peek into our last few days and a few of my favorites of the week
*Some affiliate links used.
1. Guest Room and Master Bedroom Organization
We just completed four weeks of the Clear the Clutter Challenge and this week we took on our guest rooms and master bedrooms. I originally planned to just focus on my guest room/office but I was in a organizing mood and cleaned up my master bedroom as well.
We have an older, cape cod style house that lacks big master bedroom closest. So I have to get creative in storing my jewelry and accessories. I shared how I store my purses and jewelry in our smaller room.
Now that January is over, the Clear the Clutter Challenge will slow down to a monthly challenge. In February the focus will be on photo organization! We’d love to have you join us! Be sure to join our Clear the Clutter Facebook group!
2.Finished Whole 30
Another favorite is finishing my Whole 30 Challenge. Woohoo! On Wednesday, I shared my results and my thoughts on the plan (the second time around). While I am glad to be done, I will continue to eat Whole 30(ish).
Even after I finished on Tuesday, my breakfast still has looked like this the rest of the week. Whole 30 has definitely helped me redefine what a balanced plate should look like.
Has anyone else completed Whole 30 this month? I’d love to hear how it went for you!
3. Rae Dunn Finds (and a mishap)
One day this week I happened to walk into my local Marshalls at the exact time an employee was putting out new Rae Dunn items. I have never been so lucky! While I wanted to buy it all, I selected a few of my favorites.
Truthfully, I am running out of space to put any more pieces, so I’m being selective in what I buy. Mainly, I like to purchase holiday themed items.
So, despite having a Rae Dunn success this week, I have to also share a bit of a mishap! I decided to swap out my ‘COFFEE’ canister on my kitchen shelves for the two Valentine canisters.
Black Metal Mug Rack | Mini Wood Pedestal (Magnolia Home) | White Cake Pedastals
But, as I was taking my COFFEE canister off the shelf, the lid slipped off and cracked! AHH! So now I am out of a lid for this canister. You win two and lose one I guess!
4. Fun Mail Day
Is it just me or does anyone else look forward to getting the mail each day? Most days the mailbox is filled with ads and bills, but on occasion I get lucky and have fun mail! On Wednesday, we received our Bombfell, Trendsend and GREAT Kids snack boxes! It was a fun surprise. Last fall, I talked about my favorite subscription boxes which included the three I just mentioned.
We have been receiving the GREAT kids snack box for three months now and we are totally hooked. We get the 30 snack option (there is also a 20 snack box and a gluten free option).
My kids love getting the box and picking out their favorites. I like the subscription box because we can try out new snacks and not have to commit to a big bag of something that the kids might not like. It’s a great way to sample healthy and mostly organic snacks. We always get a variety of granola bars, protein bars, veggies chips, corn puffs, fruit and veggie pouches and other unique selections. These snacks are great for grown ups too and my husband and I enjoy them as much as the kids!
It is $29.99 for 20 snacks, 39.99 for 30 snacks and 49.99 for 30 gluten free snacks (shipping free on all orders). Sign up here & use code CPD25 to receive 25% off your first order.
I ‘ll write a post soon on the items we received in our Bombfell and Trendsend boxes! I enjoy seeing what other people get in their subscription boxes, so perhaps you may be interested in what we received.
5. Adorable Home Print and a Giveaway!
Lastly, my biggest FAVORITE of the week, I recently came across the Door Before, an Etsy shop that makes mini (5 X 7) custom home portraits! I sent Geralyn, the owner and artist, a few pictures of my home and she drew the most adorable replica of our house.
I am completely in love with this adorable custom print of our home! How talented is Geralyn?! This print captures so many of the tiny details of our house.
These home drawings would be a perfect gift for new homeowners, Mother’s Day, someone moving out of a long time home, anniversary gifts–the list goes on!
I love the size of these drawings–so perfect to frame and display on a shelf or as part of a gallery wall!
You can purchase one of your very own here!
Or you can try to win your own picture! The Door Before has offered to giveaway ONE customized house drawing to a lucky reader! (Valued at $40!)
THREE steps to enter: Giveaway close on Thursday, February 8th at 11:59 p.m. EST!!

I am in love with Geralyn’s minis! I have already purchased several of them as gifts for clients (I’m a realtor) and one for myself as well! They are adorable! We’ve been our current home for 5+ years and it’s our first home together. We’ve made many memories here so it’s nice to have a keepsake of that.

We have lived in our home for 2.5 years; it was our very first home, we moved in the day after we got married! We are moving across the country on February 19th, and sadly leaving our perfect little nest behind. I would love this as a keepsake!
Oh my goodness gracious!! What a talent!! I would adore a print of our charming little yellow house.
Thank you so much for offering this fun giveaway!!! ?
We just moved in in June! It’s our first home together!!!
I spent most of December working on getting organized, and I’m so happy with the results. It feels so relaxing to know where everything is and not have a bunch of excess clutter around.
Good job on finishing Whole30. I’ve never tried it but I do have one of the Whole30 cookbooks and I like it a lot. I can’t use some of the recipes because I”m allergic to eggs, but the ones I have been able to use have been good.
Yay that’s great Angela–such a good feeling to get organized!
So cute! I like both on Instagram and I’ve been in my house for just over a year.
That print is adorable! I would love to get one of my parent’s home/ where I grew up. They’ve been living the house for 30 years and it will always be “home” to me : )I would love a charming print of it to put in my little apartment!
Oh wow, thanks for the amazing gift idea! So adorable. I’ve lived in my lil’ house about 5 yrs. It’s a really small rental, but still a really special place for my husband and I because we’ve spent the early years of our marriage here. I follow both pages on instagram too @mollj885
We moved out of our house last June and are in the process of building! I liked both on Instagram too!!!!
I think this is such a unique and beautiful give-a-way! I am excited to hear the winner (who am I kidding I’m excited to hopefully hear my name ??♀️)
We have lived in our house fro 15 years. We love it but have totally outgrown it with three kids and three pets.
