Happy Friday! It has been an exciting week over here with the launch of my new book! Today, my daughter and I are heading to New York City for a quick weekend trip. We went to NYC last fall and we had so much fun.
Today, I am wrapping up the month with some of my favorites from September. These are items I have purchased myself and I want to share with you!

While Halloween is still a month ago, we start thinking about it in September. I do not decorate a lot for Halloween. Although, I did create a Halloween front porch a few years ago.
This year, I am not sure I will put together the same type of front porch theme. But I do absolutely love this ghost doormat! One of my favorite ways to change up our front porch is with a new doormat. It is something you can always use and it is very inexpensive.
I must be on a ghost kick, because I also got these adorable acrylic ghost earrings last week! Andrea at Momfessionals shared them on her blog. There are several cute ghost styles to choose from including these rainbow glitter ghost earrings.
I shared on Instagram that these ghost earrings will be the extent of my Halloween costume:)
Finally, I ordered this spider web waffle maker. I love this little waffle makers, although admittedly it does take extra time to make up a big batch of waffles. But, my kids love them and it makes school day morning breakfasts a little more exciting.
I also have the mini Gingerbread waffle maker which I start to use in November.
Suede Crossbody Purse
Hands down my favorite purchase of September was this black faux suede crossbody purse. It is really the perfect crossbody bag. There is a front compartment, that is easy to access, for credit cards and cash.
Then, the large compartment has plenty of room for your phone, keys and make up. It comes in three different colors.
Another great feature is that you can swap out the purse strap. I already had this pink leopard print purse strap, so I immediately swapped out the black strap with it. I also have a winter plaid strap and I think I will order this camo purse strap.
I have gotten so many compliments on this purse. It will be a perfect purse for New York City.
I am always on the hunt for the best organization products. This month, I tackled some kitchen organization projects with several clients plus in my own home. One of my favorite new to me kitchen organization products is this spice organizer for a drawer. I love the pretty bottle labels and I think the system is very functional. Currently, I have my spices in a kitchen cabinet, but it can be really hard to see all of my spices.
So, I ordered this spice drawer organizer and I am going to transform a junk drawer into a spice drawer.
Warm Fall Drink
Last weekend, we went to a Clambake and my friend served the most delicious, warm, Fall drink! She used these mulling spices. In a crockpot she mixed a bottle of wine with equal parts non-alcoholic apple cider. Then she put the mulling spices in this spice ball. Her house smelled amazing and the drink was so warm and delicious!
The next day, I ordered the same spice mix so that I can recreate the drink this fall. I’ve had mulled wine before but I really think these spices made for a better drink than I’ve had before.
I also saw this spice mix that has cranberry and fig. This would make a really good Thanksgiving or holiday drink!
My New Book
As I mentioned earlier, my new book launched this week! It is available on Amazon and many other bookstores. It has been a really surreal feeling to have a book published and to be available on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and Books a Million.
If you have purchased the book, I would really appreciate your honest review! These reviews help so much to get the book more visible online! Thank you for all of your support throughout this launch!
September Wrap Up
We are getting on a plane later today for our trip. So, I need to finish things up around the house.
I hope you have a great weekend!
What is one of these finds would be a favorite for you?
