It’s Friday already and I am ready for the weekend! I can not believe that next week is March. This week, I have had spring on my mind as the weather has gotten a lot warmer.
Friday Favorites
As usual, I am hopping on today to share some favorite in home, style and family!

Spring Floral Decor
Since next week is March, I think it is okay to talk about spring. Last weekend, we had a bit of sunshine (before more snow). But, that bit of Vitamin D coming through the house, was all I needed to be reminded that warmer days are ahead.
I am loving these pretty pink floral stems I got earlier in the month. I’ve moved these flowers around the house a bit but I like them the most on our family room coffee table.
I do not plan to do a lot in the way of spring decorating. But, I always update some of our pillows, throws and faux flowers. Just a few little swaps is all that is needed to change for the season.
Tybee Island Recap
As I mentioned, we have spring, more specifically, spring break on our minds! This past week, I finally got around to sharing about our late fall trip to Tybee Island, Georgia. While writing this post, I really was missing the beach! Tybee is a cute and laid back island that is the perfect family getaway. You can read my trip recap here!
We have a spring break road trip planned this year and the countdown to our trip is on!
Swim Trunks for Boys
Speaking of spring break plans, this week I stocked up on some spring and summer items for the kids.
First, I ordered this Land’s End Swim Trunks for the boys, including my husband. These swim trunks are the best! They wash so well and they do not stretch out like other bathing suits can over time. These trunks are a nice thicker material that really hold up well.
I also got long sleeve rash guards, which can be really hard to find as the season goes on. Land’s End always has a sale, so you can always snag these at a good price.
Old Navy Sale
There is always a sale at Old Navy. So, last weekend I took advantage of the deals.
I also ordered a few shorts and tops at Old Navy. I do not always luck out for clothing for myself and my daughter at Old Navy. But, I do find that the clothes are great for my boys. My 11 year old loves these ultra soft shorts. The shorts are super soft and very breathable. I like them because they can look a little nicer than the basic gym shorts.
I also got a pair of these jogger shorts. My boys would consider these “fancier” shorts but it is nice to have a pair like these on hand for certain occasions.
Lastly, I grabbed a few of the Old Navy $5 tees including these color block raglan style and these soft basic tees.
New Leopard Watch Band
I love updating my Apple Watch Band for the holiday or season. Truth be told, I still had a Christmas watch band on until this past week. I spotted this colorful leopard watch band on a Facebook ad and I was compelled to order it.
It is so cute and colorful. This particular Etsy shop has a TON of watch band offerings. Fortunately, I didn’t even realize they had so many choices or I would have had a hard time picking one. But, I am really happy with my new band.
Spring Cleaning
Next week, we start a Spring Cleaning Challenge. You can work at your own pace or follow us along for the next month.

Friday Wrap Up
This weekend is a busy one. My daughter has a volleyball tournament and we also have a few things we want to do around the house. Plus, I hope we can get outside for a hike. Although, now that the snow is melting, everything is very muddy!
Anyway have a great weekend!

I just love your simple spring decor! I need to go to Old Navy today!!
I am so glad to see spring at ON–so many good things right now!
Love the floral accents in your living room and now I am obsessed with that colorful leopard watch band- oh my!! Have a great weekend Jaclyn 🙂
There is a Lilly inspired watch band and I thought of you:)
I’ve only been to Tybee Island once, & it was so long ago now, but I loved it there. I’m always torn between “new” trips or taking another Charleston/Savannah area trip. I think it’s about time to go back!
I struggle with the same decision–it is nice to revisit a place but there are so many places to go!
My problem with :Land’s End is the shipping! But I do need new bathing suits for my boys!
I was so impressed–I got my order in less than a week!
Your home pics are beautiful! I googled Tybee Island and it is 19 hours but it might be a place we can visit in a year or two. It sounds like a great little spot. I love ON and need to start shopping shorts for my boys too. Have a great weekend!
I love your spring blooms! Adding little touches can bring so much to a space. I picked up some things from the Old Navy sale as well. It’s hard to resist! Hope you have a good weekend.
