Stitch Fix Review February 2020

It is always a good mail day when I receive one of my favorite clothing subscription boxes. If you have been following me awhile, you know that I receive both Trendsend and Stitch Fix Clothing boxes every few months. I find that it is the perfect way to shop from clothing–in the comfort of my own home and someone else picks out the clothing for me! Now, you can take a peek at what I received in my February Stitch Fix box and what I decided to keep and return!

What I Got

As always, I received five items in my Stitch Fix box which included 3 tops, 1 pair of pants and 1 accessory. You use the style profile to indicate what you are looking for and any type of items you do not want.

Pink Clover Tulip Hem Knit Top

The first item in the box was this Hunter Green Criss-Cross long sleeve top. It is a nice light weight material that you could carry into spring time. (Good option for St. Patrick’s Day).

The Criss Cross front is a flattering cut. The back of the top is longer than the front.

I’m always asking for casual, day to day options and this top is definitely a good daily look.

Verdict: Returned. I liked the style but I did not really love the color.

Cyrus Cowl Neck Ribbed Pullover

The second top I received with this Gray Pullover Tunic. It is a thicker material than the green top and really soft and cozy.

The top was a little bit on the bigger size, so I wasn’t sure if it was all that flattering. But paired with leggings it would be a very comfy outfit.

Verdict: Returned. As the most expensive top in the box ($68), I didn’t LOVE it enough to keep it. Perhaps if I would have received this top at the beginning of winter, I would have kept it. But right now, I am looking ahead to spring time and not buying outfits that are too big and bulky.

Liverpool Jeans and Kut From the Kloth Leopard Top

The next two items in my Stitch Fix box were paired together. Although, you may have noticed I wore these same pants with the gray pullover. These plum colored jeggings were so comfy. While at first glance I didn’t know if the jeggings would be versatile because of the color, I found that they really can go with a lot of tops!

The mixed material leopard top is so cute. I like that the leopard part of the top was a soft, blousy material and the rest of the top was a brushed knit material. It is a very fun top that I can see wearing over and over again.

Verdict: Despite really liking both of these items, they were returned. I really debated on the jeans, but I have had my eye on a pair of black jeans, that I decided to buy those instead. The top was really cute but I might have to admit that I have enough leopard print (for now).

Urban Expressions Tote Purse

The last item in my Stitch Fix February box was this tote bag purse. While admittedly, I do have a lot of purses, I really liked the style of this tote. The inside has two large sections plus a middle, zippered compartment. The tote bag I have been using all winter was just one big open purse.

This tote bag would keep me so much more organized. No more digging to the bottom of the bag to find my keys!

Verdict: Kept. The tote was priced at $54 and I debated a little because I know I can find good purse deals at discount stores. But I really liked the style and the organized compartments. Instead of searching for another option that might be a little cheaper (but I might not love as much), I decided to go with this one. I’ve been using this bag for a few weeks now and I love it!

I’m shocked you didn’t keep the leopard top!!! It looked adorable on you. I love the pants too but totally get that you want to hold off for a black pair. Cute clothes though ?
