Happy Tuesday! While I am excited for spring, I sure do not get excited to spring clean. But, I do appreciate a clean house and I want to take care of it so it stays in better shape. On my stories, I shared my motto for spring cleaning— Doing something is better than doing nothing. Isn’t that the case for most things. Today’s task is to clean curtains and rugs and I plan to clean *most* of them. It is not too late to join @kerilynnsnyder and me in the 30 Day Spring Cleaning Challenge! Any little bit you do this month, means more time to get outside and play once the weather gets really nice 🌸☀️ Tell me if you are starting to spring clean?
Happy March 🍀 The saying goes, If March goes in like a lion out like a lamb. But we’ve got a ☀️ start so I sure hope we don’t end the month with ❄️🌬. While it is so good to begin this new month, it is hard to not think about the world a year ago. I am seeing my own memories pop up and I honestly feel like I’m not ready to see those memories. Anyone else? I know brighter days are ahead and I just keep focusing on the present and future. 🌸☺️
Now that the snow has melted I am starting to think about our outdoor decor. I am not acting on anything yet because in typical Midwest weather fashion, we will most certainly have snow again. But, I need your help as I am trying to decide what colors to use on my front porch. Two years ago, I had this bright yellow front porch 🍋 Then, last year, I had a red 🍒 themed porch. Should I decorate similar to one of these porch styles or try something new? 🤭
It’s the time of year that I start thinking about my kids’ clothes for spring and summer. #ad The first thing I am do is assess what clothes they have from last year that will still work.
