April Trendsend Subscription Box
Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend. Today, I am excited to share my April Trendsend Subscription Box with you!
Yesterday, my mom and I and couple of her friends went to hear the author Lisa See speak at a local library. She has written many books including the two I’ve read, Shanghai Girls and Snowflower and the Secret Fan. Anyway, it was a very fun afternoon, but that meant I was up late last night finishing up this post. Yawn!

Trendsend Details
As I have mentioned before, I love getting and receiving subscription boxes! Who doesn’t love a good mail day?! The Trendsend box is the only subscription box that I subscribe to for myself. My subscription is set up to receive a box every other month. I shared my February Trendsend back here.
In case you are not familiar with Trendsend, it is part of the Evereve clothing company. So, all the items that you receive are offered at Evereve stores. Evereve carries clothes, shoes and jewelry, so you can receive all of these in your box!
I like shopping at Evereve because the clothing is geared towards moms who want to dress stylish yet comfortable and realistic! The clothes are items that can be dressed up for date night but also worn around town with the kids during the day. While some of the items are more on the pricier side, I feel like the price is worth the quality and uniqueness of the items. My Evereve clothes are always my favorite things to wear from my closet!
April Trendsend Box
I”ll share everything I received in the box including what I kept and returned. This month, I was requesting tops for spring that could transition into summer. You provide a very detailed report on what kind of clothing you are looking for and any items you do not want. I did say that I did not want any jeans but ended up with a pair in my box. Usually they honor all of your requests.
Included in every box is a personalized letter from your stylist detailing all of your items. The items are grouped into different outfits which is so helpful in styling the pieces.
As like most months, my items were grouped into three outfits. However there are more than three outfit options possible with all the items that were provided . The stylist also tells you what type of shoes and jewelry she suggests for the outfits. So helpful!
Striped Knot Back Dress Allison Joy (on sale!)
Taylor Denim Jacket Articles of Society
I knew as soon as I took this dress out of the box that I would want to keep it! I love easy, cotton dresses to throw on in the spring and summer. What makes this dress just a little something extra is the knot tie in the back.
I was willing to pay a little more than I normally do for some dresses because of the detail and because I know I’d get a lot of use out of it. Everything from Everever holds up so well!
The denim jacket is perfect for this dress. However, I already own a jean jacket. I did like this one because it is a touch longer than the jacket I own. I like this one better than the one I have, but I couldn’t justify buying a duplicate. Especially after I just did a closet clean out!
Verdict: Dress kept Jacket Returned
Gathered Sleeve TeeSunday in Brooklyn
This top is a great light option for spring! My husband (aka photographer) gave it his approval. However, I really stay away from white tops as they are impossible to keep clean #momlife! This top was also a little see through, so I would have wanted to wear a cami under it. If the white part of the top was a different color, I would have really considered this top! It’s something a little different that would look great with jeans!
Verdict:Tee Returned
Stripe Clair Tee Free People
HW Ankle Skinny Jeans 7 for All Mankind
I am always on the hunt for good basic tees, so I was happy there was an option in this month’s box. However, I wasn’t all that thrilled once I put the top on. It would be cute for a 4th of July celebration with its red, white and blue stripes. But, it didn’t make me feel great and it wasn’t a super cheap option.
The jeans are the other hand were a favorite item of mine! These high-waist jeans felt perfect on! I don’t have a darker pair like these, so these weren’t a duplicate with any pair in my closet. I LOVED that these were high-waist and hold everything in place–woohoo!
While I try to be a budget shopper, I do not always compromise on jeans. I would rather have 2 or 3 pairs of premium quality jeans that feel great than 10 options that are just okay. So over the years, I’ve purchased more expensive jeans and I have not regretted my purchases! Jeans are something you wear over and over, so when you think about how much you are spending per wear, it makes sense! As opposed to that expensive dress you buy for a wedding or specific occasion and only wear once! So, having said all this, my verdict should not be a surprise.
Verdict: Top Returned Jeans Kept
Rosie Scrunch Dress Allison Joy
When I pulled this dress out of the box, I wasn’t quite sure if I could squeeze into it! However, it ended up being a very stretch dress –thankfully! This was a fun color and a unique style. I liked that the top of the dress was more like a t-shirt and not like a tank. The extra material/ruching on the bottom half is perfect for hiding belly issues:) This would be very fun for a night out on the town.
However, looking at all of my options in my closet, I didn’t see a need or a purpose for this dress!
Verdict: Dress Returned
Paros Ruffle PulloverAllison Joy (on sale!)
I love tops that can be used for the day to day lifestyle but also can be dressed up for fancier purposes. This light weight sweater fits that bill! I love the ruffle detail! It was hard to pass up this sweater because it was a great deal and I could see reaching in my closet for it often.
Verdict: Top Kept
Knot Back Marled TopAllison Joy (on sale!)
This top is another one of those items that has a little extra detail that makes it more than a basic option! The marled material is SO soft! I love the little knot detail on the back. However, the top came right to my waist and I worried that it would be too short for my liking.
This top is now on sale and I might have given more consideration if it was on sale at the time I received my box. Overall, a nice lightweight top for spring!
Verdict: Top Returned
That wraps up my April Trendsend Box! When I went to the store to bring back my returns (I typically send back but you do have the option of dropping off at the store), I made one more purchase.
I am a t-shirt girl, so I am always looking for fun tees. I loved this striped tee with ruffle sleeve. I’ve already worn a few times–so perfect for spring.

I was happy with my box this month! Honestly, it would have been tough if I had wanted to keep everything as the items were pricey. Some months I love everything and some times I return almost everything. I typically receive a box every two months. If I don’t need anything new, I will cancel for the month. This subscription allows me to try some new clothes that I might not have considered.
I really don’t spend a lot of time shopping and rarely when I am out shopping am I looking for clothes for myself. So, this subscription box is perfect for me to shop from the comfort of my home:)
I am considering trying Stitch Fix in addition to Trendsend just for a different option. Have you tried any clothing subscription boxes?
I agree with the pieces you kept and the ones you returned. I really like Evereve clothing as well, they have a lot of unique items there!
I loved Stitch Fix. Used it for less than a year but still love all my purchases
This is cool! I’ve never heard of this one. I used Stitch Fix for a few years and loved some stuff, but not all. Even when I increased my price range, I felt the quality of the clothes didn’t always hold up. I love what you got this month, though, and your pics are beautiful, of course! 🙂
I LOVE that ruffle sleeve tee on you!! Wish I could grab one myself 🙂
Too bad that ruffle top wasn’t in white or that would be such a keeper. Fun post!
Great choices! I tried to guess with each piece if you kept it or returned it and I was right on every one – except the white ruffle top. But I probably would have returned it too if I had to wear a cami under it.
I’ll have to check out trendsend!
I absolutely love that first striped dress. What a great monthly box, great clothing items!
Love these! The gathered sleeve tee is super cute for Spring!

I have not heard of this service! You got a lot of options to try, which is cool. It’s funny that you didn’t want jeans but you kept the jeans!
That striped tee with the ruffles is SO cute!
All of these looks are super cute and look great on you!
