Nothing says I love you like making coffee for you the ones you love? Or, maybe coffee is just my love language. Either way, if you have a coffee area in your home, it is a fun spot to decorate for Valentine’s Day. I like decorating my coffee bar because it is a small and easy space to change up for the holidays. Our coffee bar shelving makes it really easy to change the decor for the season or holiday.
We recently got a new coffee maker and the best feature is that it is programmed through Alexa so we can set up reminders and a schedule. After having a fifteen plus year old coffee maker, it is sure nice to have a new one that brews coffee while I am sleeping! The new coffee maker plus all of the Valentine’s coffee bar decor has me motivated to wake up every morning!
Do you like to decorate for Valentine’s Day? This year, I feel like I just took down my Christmas decorations (which I did just two weeks ago). So, I am trying to keep things simple over here by just decorating our coffee bar for Valentine’s Day. It is nice to have a little touch of Valentine’s Day but not all the added decorations all over the house.
Coffee Bar Decor Ideas
Before I go out and buy any new holiday decor, I use what I have on hand. I really try not to have a lot of holiday decorations (besides Christmas) because I do not like having to store all of it. So, I start with what I already have out on the coffee bar and then I add a few things and take away a few items.
Once you have some coffee bar basics, you can really change up the decor pretty easily.
If you have been around awhile, you have seen almost all of this decor just in different spots around the kitchen.
Dollar Store Heart Dollies
One of my favorite inexpensive Valentine’s Day decor ideas is to use paper heart dollies from the Dollar Store. They look super cute taped to the wall by our coffee bar.
I only needed a few of these heart dollies, so we can use the rest to make Valentine’s notes or to decorate in other spots of the house.
Last year, I made these Valentine’s Hot Cocoa Printables. So I framed one of the Valentine’s Hot Cocoa Recipe print.
Instead of putting the Valentine’s Day print in a picture frame like I did last year, I used a clipboard that I had on hand.
Now, the kids can join in the fun of our Valentine’s Day coffee bar. I even found some heart shaped Marshmallows.
