Happy Friday! How has your week been going? It has been a quick week and now the kids are off for a four day weekend. We have a lot of snow expected so I’d love to be able to stay indoors by the fire! Probably won’t happen as much as I want to (the snow and sitting by the fire!) Anyway, as usual I am back to link up with Erika, Narci and Andrea for Friday Favorites! I’ll recap our week, share a few new fun finds and favorites!
Valentine’s Day Coffee Bar
This past weekend we some Valentine’s decorations put up around the house. I don’t go crazy for this holiday, but it is nice to add a little to the house in January when everything is so dark and dreary outside!
I had everything around the house I needed to decorate. I love when I can use what I already have!
My daughter and I spent some time at the craft store (A.C. Moore) this weekend. So I did buy this little sign which was only $2!
If you are in need of some inexpensive Valentine’s decor, Target dollar bins to the rescue! So many cute things right now. I love those cake stands and you could definitely use throughout the year, not just Valentine’s Day.
I love these inexpensive Valentine’s Day towels!
Heart Sweater
Speaking of all things hearts, I mentioned this heart sweater last week and I ended up purchasing it for myself. It is such a steal and I am impressed with the quality and feel of the sweater. I rarely purchase clothing on Amazon, so I was happy that this sweater worked out.
I ended up sizing up in the sweater, which next time maybe I wouldn’t because it was a little big. But since it is big and a longer length, I could even wear with leggings.
Clear the Clutter Week 2
This week we tackled our mudroom, living room and closets. You can head over to my post on Monday to read the whole story!
How are you decluttering projects going? Over on Instagram, I asked if everyone was still into the decluttering mood and 78% of you said YES! Phew. It is so easy to lose motivation, especially if you go strong from the get go. I definitely recommend not trying to overdo it or else you will burn out. Decide on a plan and set some goals and you will get there!
Grocery Saving Tips
On Wednesday, I shared some tips and tricks for saving on groceries! Two of my favorite tips include using the grocery savings apps, Fetch and Ibotta! I’ve heard from many of you that you LOVE Ibotta but hadn’t heard of Fetch.
Both apps are EASY and passive ways to earn a little money when you grocery shop! If you use my Ibotta referral code, you will get a $10 credit to your account. My Ibotta referral code is: nythdeh My Fetch Referral code: A8FXT and you will get 2000 points for using it (equivalent to $2 of a gift card!)
Favorite New Shows
With the cold and dark days of winter, we have found more opportunities to watch some new shows. Last weekend, we watched Birdbox and oh my goodness it is creepy but GOOD. This is a movie on Netflix and stars Sandra Bullock and John Malkovich. I am not really into scifi at all but this movie has so much suspense and thrill. I definitely recommend it for a weekend date night in.
This week we started (and finished) the first season of Jack Ryan. Based on the character from Tom Clancy’s novels, this Amazon series centers around Jack Ryan who is an up and coming CIA agent. Jack Ryan is played by John Krasinski. My husband was a little hesitant to watch because he has a hard time seeing John Krasinski as anyone but Jim from the Office:) But we both LOVED this series. The next season comes out in April and we can’t wait.
It is always sad to finish a TV series and then have to come up with a new one to watch. What are your favorites right now??

I hope you have a GREAT weekend! On Monday I will be back with week three of Clear the Clutter!
Your coffee bar is one of my goals. If I have time during a Good snowy weekend, I am going to re-organize an area and cabinet in our kitchen to do something similar. Have a Good weekend sweet lady!

One thing I love about Valentine’s decor is that it can be used almost at any time! The love theme is universal! I’ve been watching Travelers on netflix after a few bloggers recommended it! Have a great weekend!
I love your coffee bar. It is so cute decorated for Valentine’s Day! I love it. I need to go read your grocery shopping tips.
I just love your coffee bar. I plan to focus our Valentine’s decor in the kitchen. We loved Jack Ryan and also the British show The Bodyguard. Hope you have a good, extended weekend!
Love your coffee bar! We’ve been bingeing The Good Place – I’m obsessed! I’m also going to start Brooklyn 99. 🙂
Loving your Valentine’s themed coffee area- would love to create something like that in my home! Also, I grabbed so many of those Target dollar spot goodies for my Valentine baby’s first birthday party, everything was so cute!
Your Valentine’s Decor is SO cute!!! I never decorate for Valentine’s either but this has me rethinking that. SOOOO perfect!

Black Coffee Beautiful
It is so fun to decorate for Valentine’s Day…and you can do it for very little money. You can even just gather up all the red and pink decor in your house and make a little display. Would love to see what you come up with if you decide to decorate!
