Valentine’s Popcorn Card Printable
Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with the kids. It is just so sweet:) Also, I love helping out in the kids’ Valentine’s Day class parties. The kids are always so excited to look through their Valentine’s cards.
This year my fifth grader was stumped on what cards to get for his classmates. He felt that most of the cards at the store were a little too babyish and he most certainly did not want to get any cards that were too cheesy (or indicated he “liked” anyone). Ha! So, we came up with a fun idea. These Valentine’s Popcorn Cards are fun and not romantic which was exactly what my son was looking for!
The best part is that this is a very inexpensive Valentine’s Day card DIY! For less than $10, you can make 44 Valentine’s Day Popcorn cards!
What You Need for these Cards:
- Purchase Microwave Popcorn Bags from the store. I got a box of 44 Microwave Bags of Popcorn for $9.99 at Costco. That is enough bags for two entire classrooms! So, if you just need half of that box, you have spent less than $5 on Classroom Valentine’s Day cards!
2. Use Cardstock or printer paper and download the Valentine’s Day Popcorn Cards.
3.Attach the cards with Washi Tape or tie with ribbon.
I love Valentine’s Day gifts that are consumable. Your child will come home with a lot of candy, pencils and erasers! Why not mix things up with a fun Valentine’s Day card that includes a non-candy, non-tricket, slightly healthier treat?!
